Frank, have you read HR 2, the border bill the House sent to the Senate in May? If not, you may want to check it out at:

H.R.2 - 118th Congress (2023-2024): Secure the Border Act of 2023 | Congress.gov | Library of Congress

It is an exceptionally large bill with numerous sections, many of which were nonstarters for both parties in the Senate. For example, it calls for the refusal to consider asylum for anyone who crosses the border between approved border crossings. Sounds good, right? Can you imagine what  the Cuban American republican voters in Florida would think if their relatives that escape Cuba on rafts were denied asylum and promptly returned? Or the section that calls for draconian penalties for any company that hires a person without first verifying their status on E-Verify. Not exactly small business friendly, not to mention how some large poultry processors would react.

The bill is still in committee in the Senate, and a response will be forthcoming once all the changes deemed appropriate are hashed out. But remember when a bipartisan group of Senators sent an immigration to a republican controlled House for consideration, and it wasn’t even allowed to be voted on in committee.? Until we get to a point where all the party bickering is behind us, it is highly unlikely anything like HR2 will bet passed by both houses of congress.

The purpose of any Inquiry into a person's or corporations Tax Returns, and Related Records is to check reported income on a Return and the Net after Deductions that are taken as authorized by the Tax Code and the related Regulations. When a person does not make Returns available it usually involves the lack of Finality to a Return which could mislead the General Public. When Trump supposedly did not make his Returns avaliable he was still in the process with his Accountants in finalizing accurate Figures on His Returns, so that the IRS had an accurate picture of his true income. For those of you Familiar with Accounting a Return for an Individual who is involved with a Corporation as a principal therein, and/or on the Board of Directors, may vary and differ substantially from the Corporate Return that is submitted that the General Public associates the individuals name with. This applies to Donald J. Trump, Hunter Biden, and Tom Cruise, etc etc etc. What is a Flag Raiser is when an individual has made deposits of large amounts of money to  LLC's that records show that person is a "player" in its institution and continuiing receopt of Funds, and what 'Work" is actually associated with the recepot of said Funds. Hunter has had no Job of Workl to justify his receiving large amounts of money. The examination of his Tax Returns is therefore, not a politically motivated Witch Hunt, it is a reasonable inquiry, the same that some of you Urge Stridently with Donald J. Trump. If the Laundry is clean, then the IRS should say so.

I agree with Dennis Moran who has the beginnings of a Sour Stomach over the Name Calling that goes on within the context of these Annals of Camelback 65 and all that its promise is now demonstrating, Enough Already. Earlier this week i was tempted to Post a Rip Roaring Name Calling Tirade featuring what I really Feel about Joe Biden, his enforcement of Border Immigration law, which he always spouts with  slitted eyes and claims "Its Broken and Trump did it" blah blah blah portraying him as what Oklahoman's call a Dog who gets its Nutrition from sneakng into the Chicken Coop and sucking the Yolks out of the Fresh Eggs, but I didn't because it would be offensive, and serve nothing more than Stir the Pot, which none of us need.Sometimes it does not do any good whatsoever to use this Forum as a Heavy Bag for our Frustrations.

Bills are written,re-written, considered , voted on, moved from House to Senate or Senare to House, amended, voted on, sent to POTUS for signature.  The Immigration/Border Bill has been sitting in the Senate for 6 months.  When 5-12 Thousand illegals a-day are crossing our border that's stupid.  Even Katie Hobbs has figured it out!!  Weiss has charged Hunter for the years he didn't pay his taxes and for years and items on the returns he did pay like, paying hookers as a business expense.  In addition to getting tax returns, the House wants to interview witnesses, but is being stonewalled.  There have been some witnesses who have come forward, two IRS  agents testified they were originally stonewalled by their bosses and Biden's Justice Department (that is the motivation for Weiss charging now) and a couple of Hunters business partners who have implicated Joe.  Devin Archer and Tony Bobulinski have both implicated Joe.  Devin Archer testified that the brand of their business WAS "Joe" and Bobulinski testified to the FBI that "The Big Guy" in Hunters work emails about distribution of money was Joe.  I.E. "10% for the Big Guy".  it has also been revealed that Joe had numerous shadow email accounts he used and that he met with many of Hunter's clients.  Johnathan Turley, a Constitutional Professor and Lawyer says for a President to be prosecuted they don't even have to receive money.  Simply using their position is guilt according to the Constitution.  Hunters statement today was that Joe was not "financially involved" in his businesses.

Maybe Mike K. can give us all a primer on exactly how our legal system works. You know, all that stuff about being innocent until proven guilty, not having to incriminate oneself, and the prosecution having to prove its case beyond a shadow of a doubt. If it weren’t for all those technicalities, I imagine our ex-president might already be wearing clothes that match his hair (orange- get it?).

Hunter’s old laptop has been in the hands of prosecutors for over two years and was held by Rudy Guliani for almost a year prior to that (and of course old Rudi would never think about altering anything on it). Even the repair store owner has claimed he made copies of all the files, e-mails, etc. before Rudi got the laptop and made them available to almost anyone who asked for a copy. And yet, so far no one has come forth with as much as a single sentence that collaborates any of the accusations made against Hunter. And if you want some very interesting reading, google the witnesses that Jordon and team have questioned behind closed doors and ask yourself if you would believe anything they say or why if it is so damning it hasn’t already been “leaked.” One of them is currently under investigation for illegal dealings with China that are not related to Hunter, and it is said he is insisting on getting full immunity in that case before he will make any public on the record statements about Hunter. Another has just been sentenced to one year and one day in federal prison for a $60M fraud against an American Indian tribe and using $20M of it for his own use. Not exactly what I would call upstanding citizens. I bet even Mike K. could tear them apart on the witness stand.

Did Hunter have a drug problem? Yes, he admits to it, but now he is sober. Did he fail to pay taxes on around $3M, yes, he admits to it, and he has paid his back taxes along with penalties and interest. Did he hire hookers, probably (heck maybe even has Stormy Daniels on his speed dial). Did he lie on an application to buy a handgun when asked if he ever used drugs. Absolutely! And I’m sure he is the first person to ever do so, and the prisons must be jam packed with folks convicted of doing the same.

But did he use his father’s position as vice president to curry favor with international business and government? Probably. Oh wait, I was thinking of Jared and Ivanka. So far not one piece of evidence has been brought forward to prove either he or his dad were paid just to have access to his dad’s offices, even though some members of the House are shitting bricks to prove otherwise. I think that’s what far right conservatives calls a witch hunt.

Do I think Hunter did some shady things in the past? Yes, but my “opinion” doesn’t mean squat. If Jordan and company has the proof, then turn it over to the DoJ’s Republican appointed special prosecutor and get on with it. Until that happens it’s just all noise.

In other words, if you’re going to lie, make it a big one and those who don’t want to believe you wouldn’t lie, will believe you.

The 2020 election was stolen, and January 6 was a peaceful demonstration.

Richard DS and et. al.  The legal system is not perfect, as mankind is not perfect. That's why we need a Savior. The reason Congress has to Subpoena Records and People to testify, is because the party's Subpoenaed have already refused to turn over the documents, and/or allow a search for such, and the reason people get Subpoenaed is because they won't voluntarily Testify without a Subpoena. But, folks defy Subpoenae's all the time, so they will eventually get charged with a Crime, or cited with Contempt, depending on the Court you find yourself a person of interest in. Criminal it is usually Obstruction of Justice, Civll it is Contempt of Court.

Now as to Hunter's Laptop, the person who had it initially was a computer repairman and Hunter left it off to fix it. He took a look at what it was,, and after having it for what I remember him saying, as about a year, he knowing it belonged to the president's baby boy, Hunter, called the ever dependable always discreet FBI who took it into their Custody and had it for many many many years before even admitting they had the baby boy's computer with all that incriminating evidence within it. Now Richard, you have a habit that I have noticed which I call Distortion of Fact, and I don't want to say yet, that you do so purposely, but a wiff of it is in the air. So herein I am issuing you a Challenge. Please submit the Source of your saying in your Post above, where Rudy Giuliani had that same Laptop in his possession, because Frankly, this is the First Time I can Recall anyone Ever saying this. The problem with Posting such distortion of Fact it it is such, is that some herein will actually Believe It, and it will lead to Further Confusion.

As to a general outline as to how the Legal System works. It is split upp by Function and labelled as Procedure, and Substance. Procedure is the operating System to give cases an orderly progression start to finish, and Substantively it is also based upon a pregressive framework, the plaintiff in a case, or the prosecuting party, must submit sufficient evidence to carry the Burden of going Forward after the initial case is presented, and then the defendant or respondent, has the weight of proof transferred to their side of the case, by responding to the Duty or obligation alleged, with Evidence which will show that there is a Reason or Reasons as why the defendant or respond3ent could not, would not or was prevented from performing, or because of facts, there is a defense to the allerged transfer of the Burden brought by the plaintiff. 

If you care to go further, the subject matter above is taught in courses that are called "Criminal Procuedure" and the Civil side is called "Civil Procedure" I have taught both Courses in the past. The more you study the intricacies of our Legal System, the more you realize the True Genius of the US Constitution and our legal system as presently practiced and contnues evolving. 

We have an ongoing problem with our Legal System functioning nowadays, because our  pervasive inclination towards a Humanitarian Philosophical approach to the enforcement of Law has begun the Erosion of the entire System as a whole. You hear people complain that more Sympathy and Resources are funneled by our Country and States Governments towards the Welfare of Criminals and Illegal Entriants than towards Victims and Citizents, and this is certainly factually borne out by the daily News. Where else in the World can a Thief steal up to 950 dollars several times a day, only to be released and Commit the same Crimes again, and perhaps Assault or even Murder someone who acts to prevent their further criminal acts. The Rolling Stones called a Song "Sympathy for the Devil": and the Title fits our modern societal concerns to many peoples Chagrin. Similarly, people complain that Bidens Open Border Laxity is a Womb for further Erosion of our Legal System, and by the daily Proof, it is obvious, and at Crisis Level right Now. Certainly anyone who considers themselves competent to make Posts herein, has to Admit  "THIS AINT WORKING" AND ALL PLAUDITS AND EXCUSES ASIDE, THE REASON IT AINT WORKING IS THAT ALL THE COMPLAINERS ABOUT HOW "THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN" DON'T EVEN MAKE AN EFFORT TO ENFORCE THE LAWS THAT ARE THE FRAMEWORK OF THE EXISTING SYSTEM.. IT SEEMS TO BE INTENTIONAL TO ME AND I SHOULD KNOW BECAUSE I DO WORK IN THE SYSTEM.

As for the chain of custody of Hunter’s laptop, several newspapers reported that Rudi Guliani had appeared in a Delaware police station on October19, 2020 trying to get them to investigate the mysterious laptop and that earlier that month he shared data supposedly off the laptop with the Washington Post.

The Post reported that Rudy Giuliani, the personal attorney for U.S. President Donald Trump (who was running against Joe Biden), gave them a "copy" of Hunter Biden's laptop drive on Oct. 11, 2020. The newspaper was first alerted to its existence by Steve Bannon, a former Trump aide and former Breitbart News executive. The FBI has reported they didn’t obtain the laptop until November of 2020.

Of course, if you don’t believe anything reported in the press, then anything you believe must be correct.

According to the FBI’s numbers, as of the end of FY23 (Oct. `22 - June `23) crime in America is down from the previous year, by a lot.

I was hoping not to see the MAGA/TRUMPEE label...it really bothers me. It insulted my right to vote for a person I hopped could help.  It points to maybe one of my mistakes that needs to be run into the ground. I even tried to hope that we could get away with labels.  Im hoping that this note will work towards that...I too have disgusting labels that I am tempted to use. Two wrongs don't make a right.  Please respect my wishes. I have learned alot from people on both sides of politics.   I try to stay moderate and like seeing something I didn't know about.

RDS the original Laptop belonging that the repairman held, was copied by himself for his own Safety's sake, and the FBI made copies of it even though they denied it's genuineness for approximately 20 months. I believe Rudy Giuliani was urging the FBI and others to examine the Laptop not because he had it in his possession, but because he believed the FBI had it in their  possession. As is said "The Truth will out" but that doesn't mean people will acknowledge it when they learn of it. As to my giving you an  outline as to  how  the legal system works, it was because I took you seriously, and now  I know  I don't really need to if I am so inclined. Just as some of your other communications to me RDS. Do you Agree?

DeWitt you mentioned a few weeks back, that you thought sometimes that one of the other Contrarians who enters his missives here makes some of them just to test the waters to see if he can get a response from some of us who are truly writing our own opinions herein. I believe your observation is correct. I have found that such vacuous investigators are usually not to clear about expressing what they believe as they fear group rejection and thus loneliness in their future Life. The answer, of course, if you entertain such societal fears, is to go to a place that has Pet Adoptions and get a Pet. Try to stay away from large Snakes, say five feet long or longer, especially those that can swallow large  mammals whole, or if you do, sleep with a fairly large in circumference Hickory Stick over seven feet long  if possible. Keep it as a kind of Body Blocker in case you wake up looking in the eyes of your new found friend.

Thanks Kat, I'm feeling fine now after relaxing with an unsweet tea and  a handful of MMs.  Instead of 10W or Crisco as a liberal party favor I propose generic products and yes they do make generic batteries for other get togethers.I do agree that, Make America Great Again is whats needed..Adding Trumpee onto it makes me think of hair pieces.  Service to ones country showed me how important my vote is. Rudy Giuliani once was called America's Mayor destroyed his legacy months ago. Now he destroyed his finances. The jury awarded the two women he slandered $150 million.
