Jim Coats

Beautiful, Patty.  Thanks!

She, (Xi) Jen Ming, should feel right at home in San Francisco with his buddies Biden and Newsome. It will be almost like his home away from home. He knows how dirty the streets there are and will probably thank them for cleaning all the Sh*t and needles off the streets for him.

I will not weigh in on the feud between Jim, Lorts, and Deshong, but I see some quick solutions to our problem. Some of which Jim has already reiterated.

1 CLOSE THE BORDER.

2 DRILL BABY DRILL

3 BUILD OUR MILITARY STRONGER AND WITHOUT WOKNESS.

4 PUT AMERICA FIRST

   AND IN DOING SO,

5 MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

Biden has to go in any way possible. Impeachment will never happen even if it passes the House, and we definitely do not want Kamala in the Oval Office, which means we will have to endure another year of the Obama/Biden Presidency. We need someone strong enough to beat whoever the Dems put up in 2024. Everyone here knows that I support Donald Trump to fill that position. DeSantis is a good governor for Florida. He needs to keep doing what he has been doing there. I don't trust either Haley or Christie any further than I can throw them, And I am pretty weak right now. And it goes down from there.

Patty,

Beautiful picture ! Looks like a walking rug. ( Just kidding ). I really happen to love bears, what a hell of an animal they are...........

Mike Lorts

DeWitt,

Your thorough and complete explanation of Jim's bumper stickers has been sooo helpful in how we can solve all of our country's problems. I always thought solutions would have to complex and require thoughtful deliberation to solve them but, you and Jim have condensed these solutions into "one incomplete sentence ".

11/14/23 12:58 PM #11490

Michael Wetzel

We don't have to try and solve any of our worlds problems, we have our very own two top notch, reknown, narcissist, who can solve any, and all problems ! We don't need no stinking badges...." HAKUNA MATATA ".............

Mike L.  If you and your "ilk" (I  personally love being called one of the ilk) can make everything right with the world, please go ahead.  Who's stopping you?  Oh, that's right.  All you want to do is "debate" something over which you have no control.  Well.....proceed, but I'm not debating anyone.

Someone close came up with an idea that I haven't actually heard with regard to Israel/Gaza/Hamas.  How about getting some of those hospital ships....like the one Cuomo didn't use for Covid, and anchor them off the coast of Gaza.  Then, transfer all legitimate patients from the hospitals to the ship(s) and then.....wait for it.....bomb the shit out of the hospitals that are cover for the Hamas terrorists.  Sound like a good idea?  If so, then Mike L. and Richard.....make it happen.  Complex enough?

Problem solved.  Follow me for future advice.

Oh....and BTW....VOTE!

Jimbo! Wow, look at us. We’re actually having a debate about possible solutions to a complex issue. Whoda thunk.

First, let me apologize for not recognizing your bear story as an attempt at humor.  I just thought it was an example from your youth that even then you looked at life through a distorted lens and when faced with reality ran in the opposite direction. You know, like you still do today. (budda bump – my attempt at humor).

As for your idea of using hospital ships to evacuate hospitals in Gaza, is it possible you got that idea by doing some actual research? The White House is currently coordinating with Italy and Turkey to do just what you suggest and the USNS Comfort is already under sail to the Middle East to help as it can. Since you previously supported just bombing all Palestinians to oblivion and letting God sort it out, does this mean you are now an official advisor that helps your god figure things out? And you think I have grandiose thoughts.

Did you see that the US is supplying dog-like robots capable of making 3-D photos to help the Israelis map the maze of tunnels under Gaza? With the Republican controlled House unable to get their act together (still) and pass any spending bills, who knows how much of this sort of aide can be supplied in a short period of time. Perhaps the funds passed under Trump for building more southern border walls and that the current administration has said by law must be spent this year, can be diverted to aide for Israel and Ukraine. Kinda like Defense Department funding was diverted under Trump to finance wall construction Mexico was unwilling to pay for.

Let me leave you with some news that is bound to excite you. During the year I stopped posting I managed to get in a good deal of travel, both domestic and international.  I also managed to leverage the money I made two years ago when I sold my much larger house and found a very suitable home that fulfilled my wife’s desire to downsize. We are just about settled into our new digs, and we have decided to spend the 2023 holiday season with friends and family here in the Phoenix area. Therefore, I will have plenty of time to engage your newfound desire to debate the issues and at the same time hopefully fill the void left by Katie and Earl taking a break until after the holidays. Just thinking about our future exchanges brings a smile to my face.

Here’s looking forward to our continued sharing of ideas.

And I totally agree with your latest bumper sticker:

VOTE!

Can the Freedom Caucus do anything else to get out the non-Republican vote?

What is truly amazing and only exists in a Constitutional Republic is the Fact that the Climate of Freedom of Expression it has created allows such wildly disparate opinions as are expressed herein, even as to those that are so separated from the everyday Reality those of us who are Sane face, that it becomes a source of ribald laughter when reading them, and is also a very true indicator of how far down from the Level of Achievement of students successfully finishing High School prior to World War ii that sober reflection causes real concern.

This is demonstrated daily by the great number of college students and Generation Losers that currently Demonstrate against Jewish people and don't realize that they are repeating a terrible part of the World's History from the 1940's.

We have seen our Economy almost totally ruined in the course of a mere 3 years by a group of people who hang onto their group political delusions worse than people who commit suicide in a religious cullt because some Nutter tells them they must!

Are we really the ":Leading Net Exporter of Energy" in the whole World ??? Gosh, Really. Nonsense!!! But Funny!!!! Sorta!!!

Jim, that's a great Bear Story. I have seen probably more than a dozen people "Sneak up on Buffalo to take a picture of Raw Nature", only to get chased and even butted in the ass because they don't realize that is a wild animal which could care less what your Socal Station in Life happens to be. Don't feel as if you are the only one who has committed such a Fauz Pas. A bunch of us were doing some roping practice on half a dozen steer calves we had borrowed from the Loop Ranch in Tehachapi, Ca. In the group of calves was a small intact bull calf, who was missing one eye for whoever knows why. He was as a result pretty Ornery. 3 of us had roped him, and it was my turn to dismout and take a loop off his horns, ror it was caught in such a way to make it impossible to clear it from horseback, So I dismounted and very quickly took the loop off the horns,.It was at that point that one-eyed little bull turned his good eye towards me,saw me, and jumped up and charged. I began a hasty retreat but he was gaining ground rapidly. My only hope was to leap, and leap high. Lebron James would have been amazed at my vertical Jump that day, but even so, one of those little horns grazed the inside of my right leg. I literally leaped into the Saddle of my trusty mount Rocky. The rest of the Traitors were laughing very hard calling me a "Gunsel" But even the best of us hit a rough spot once in a while. What matters is that you tried.

Thanks Patty; the Bears in the backyard were fantastic...I thought of the time at Ft. Sill having a picknick among the Buffalo.  I could reach out and touch them...but Im only stupid in politics.

I was happy seeing the march in DC for Israel..

I want the hostages set free, but am affraid their dead or dying from their wounds.

The current hospitals are too filty and contaminated to care for anyone....so its time to move the patients...

Use the shipment of Field Hospitals furnished by Turkey.

I would like to see Israel remove the babies from the hospital and relocate to a working field hospital

I would like to see Israel remove the  patients and mothers   to  working field hospitals

I'm a moderate and see solving the problems by bombing Iran especially their oil fields..or we could just send Biden.....no one knows as much about destroying an industry like he does..

also, more razor wire for the boarder.....I believe the illegals would hold off crossing....can't cut the use of razor wire....almost as good as atomic handgranades.

Time to take care of our citizens...the illegals are citizens of the drug cartels.

Im tired of Liberals...and have a plan to solve the problem; first one to hold their breath the longest wins.

Mike Lorts has proved to me that the best way to express how stupid one is by writting a small paragraph based on the lack of knowledge...Its ok to stick your head back in the hole in the ground. Its ok I don't have to be smart when one has experience.

I didn't plan on writting again but Mike Lorts brought the devil out of me...

You can exhale now Mike....Sorry I just wasn't stupid enought to write this in a paragraph.

Dennis.

Patty--To clean up after that Bear, you must have a super-duper-pooper-scooper?  We have a bear in our neighborhood but I haven't seen him or her yet.  Based on what it leaves it's not as big as yours.  Hi DeWitt--When you mentioned you're weak right now I hope you're getting stronger!  N.S.--So where did San Francisco send all the druggies and squalor?  It's reported they sent it to Oakland.  No wonder the Raiders moved to Las Vegas?

I write letters on regular basis to my congressman and senators to express my thoughts on various subjects. Sometimes I even get a form letter in reply. I know my letter represents thousands of voters because they get so few letters. God knows how much money they spend trying to keep their seat and the power that comes with that seat. If you are unhappy or happy with your representative/senator work with their campaign office or the oppositions campaign office. Writing these letters gives me a sense of some accomplishment.

Frank, I'm sure you realize that by saying I'm too weak, I was referring to being too weak to literally throw them very far. But I am strong enough to throw them out of the ring at the ballot box. Otherwise, I am strong enough to do what I need to do. Thanks.

Lorts, I know what you mean by form letter returns from your congressmen. I have received many. The signature at the bottom is, of course, printed as well. If it were an actual signature, it might be worth something someday. It's like the books I paid extra for that are signed by the author. I came to realize that " signed copy" doesn't mean " autographed." It's just a signature printed on a sticker and pasted on the book's inside cover. It's worthless. Oh well! Live and learn.

Hi DeWitt--I know you have been having some health issues and what I meant, when you said you were weak, that you might be ill.  I was just hoping you would feel better.  Thanks!!

I have been hesitant to post this before.  (and you have not, or probably will, never see this anywhere else) Our Country is terrible in negotiations.  It started when we dropped Nucs on Japan.  So let me enforce my opinion.  What was the first Military involvement we got in after WW2?  The answer is Korea.  What would Korea be like now if we had threatened to drop Nucs on Pyongyang first, and then continue in to China if they didn't back off?  (Remember, we saved Chinas ass when the Japanese attacked them.  Google: The Flying Tigers   Or watch the movie: "Sand Pebbles" (One of my all time favorites).-----Let's now move to Vietnam.  Remember when the North Vietnamese said they would not come to the negotiating table to end the war unless we stopped the bombing?  Our morons at the time, not realizing bombing was their weakness and that was our Trump Card, stopped the bombing instead of bombing more aggressively to end the war.  There were Flagged Cargo Ships of the French, Italians, and rumored the English moored in Hyphong Harbor/ Hanoi.  What would have happened if we had told them all we were going to wipe out the entire area.  They would have moved their ships.  Remember when JFK cordoned off Cuba?  What happened when we bombed Japan?  Their Emperor walked on an American Battleship and Unconditionally Surrendered.  Now let me ask another question?  If we look at our enemies that we had to fight, how many of those countries did we take over?  As much as I hate war-----sometimes it is absolutely necessary.  Our leadership (or lack of leadership) in the White House thinks you can negotiate with people that have no interest in being friends.  Even worse, we think our Country (which is In dangerous debt) thinks we can buy our enemies!  Interesting today that John Kerry--our climate secretary was sitting at the table across from the Chinese but I didn't see our Secretary of Defense there?  I am not endorsing dropping Nucs!!!!

Dear God, we need another Ronald Reagan Now !...Did you catch that one, " They woke up dead ". !. The moron, with dementia, had his list of reporters to call on, with his answer sheets.....

Frank W. Great comme

nt your 11627 and I only differ with you on a minutiae of a point, though I might heartily disagree with using Nukes on any human being, I would never tell anyone at that table you mentioned where John Kerry was camping for who knows what reason, that I would absolutely NOT USE NUKES.

BIDEN IS REALLY NOT BRIGHT AT ALL. BIDEN COMPLETELY NULLIFIED THE WORK OF SEVERAL STATE LEGISLATURES, BECAUSE BIDEN GAVE AWAY THE FARM. ARKANSAS PASSED LEGISLATION THAT FORBIDS CHINA FROM BUYING UP LAND. SO BIDEN SERIOUSLY DAMAGED OUR MILITARY BY MAKING SOME VERY CRIPPLING AGREEMENTS WITH CHINA. WHAT DO YOU TELL A MAN WHO HAS TWO BLACK EYES? NOTIHING, HE DIDN'T LISTEN THE FIRST TWO TIMES. THAT'S BIDEN.

We now know that Biden has received money from the Chinese. James Comer (R) House of Representatives has the documentary Proof.  To me he's obviously trading favorable treatment for the money he has received.  This is called Traitorous activity.

I am listening to Biden mutter his way through a Press Conference of sorts, and he is telling everyone that in his opinion the only way to solve the Israel Hamas problem is a two state solution, and that Israel is making a mistake thinking that they can occupy Gaza. Where did Bden get that information ? Or is  that how biden wants to "muscle" Israel into a minoroty position in the UN, by creating a False Narrative. Pretty nasty move on his part.

Biden seems to be stirring up trouble with such a statement. Israel has said that they will do what is necessary to rid themselves of the Hamas Problem, to which they have every right to do so. So what's with biden sticking his conjecture into a very Serious War.

REMEMBER YOUR LAST VOTE COULD WELL BE THE LAST ONE YOU WILL EVER HAVE!!!!!! WE ARE IN REAL TROUBLE WITH BIDEN, AND THE  DEMOCRATS.

Mike K.--I agree that Nucs should always be on the table.  Last night pro-Palestinian Protesters tried to break into the Democratic Headquarters in D.C. and it got violent with numerous Police being injured.  I wonder if the prison sentences will be comparable to the January 6th protestors?  Probably not because last night those violent protestors were Not Republicans.

11/16/23 08:52 AM #11505

Mike Lorts

Frank,

How the hell do you know that none of those protesters were republican?

11/16/23 10:20 AM #11506

DeWitt Bacon

Mike L. I have mentioned before that I am losing faith in the republican party. It wouldn't surprise me to find some so-called Republicans who attended the pro-Hamas demonstrations. They are the ones we call RINOs, and there are more of them than we realize. I know you probably don't listen to Dan Bongino, but he has a saying I am beginning to agree with. "SOME REPUBLICANS ARE ACTUALLY DEMOCRATS. BUT NO DEMOCRATS ARE ACTUALLY REPUBLICANS."

Frank, thanks for your concern about my health. I am doing fine except for the usual aches and pains of a 76-year-old and, of course, my slowly failing eyesight, but I can still get around and drive myself to the store. lol.

When we dropped the atomic bomb on Japan, it not only ended the war but reportedly saved more lives than it otherwise would have cost. Notice I said 'reportedly. There is no proof of that. We were the only ones with that kind of weapon. There was no retaliation, which showed we had the power to protect ourselves and our allies. But of course, it wasn't long before enemy nations began to build their own nuclear weapons, and now many nations have them. For any nation to use such a power now would result in a nuclear war that could destroy the earth.

11/16/23 12:04 PM #11507

Mike Lorts

DeWitt,

First, the demonstration was pro-Palestinian, not pro-Hamas.

Second, couldn't Dan Bongino statement mean that some republicans find they agree with democrats and no democrats agree with republicans

11/16/23 02:41 PM #11508

Richard Deshong

For those who read forum posts through far-right red colored lenses, please note in my post 11603 I never said the USA was the “leading net exporter of energy in the world” (see post 11621).  I only reported the truth which is for the past twenty-four months the USA has been “a net exporter of oil”.  But since that doesn’t fit some peoples desire to wallow in disbelief, I can see why it would be misstated.

What is it with those of you who subscribe to the far right MAGA wing of the Republican Party? Is there some sort of indoctrination you must go through, or a pill you must swallow, to come to the belief that if you say something loud enough (or in all caps), or enough times, it is automatically true? Do the lawyers who represent your leaders take some sort of special classes at Harvard that teach them they don’t need to have actual proof that will stand up in a court of law and they can simply say whatever they want as long as they get paid enough?

But wait!  Look at what is happening in Georgia. One by one the lawyers charged with racketeering and being prosecuted for their role in denying, or even trying to change election outcomes, are deciding to plead guilty. Most of them are saying they came to that decision because they didn’t believe what they had been saying in the first place, know they are in fact guilty as charged, and are not even getting paid for work they did in the past nor are they being helped to pay the large legal bills they are now facing.  They also realize they will most likely wind up losing their law licenses and now are deciding to jump ship before they are financially ruined.  It makes them look the same as some lowly contractor who was hired to do work at Mar-a-Lago, got stiffed, and wound up being sued as a bullying tactic when they sought legal relief to get paid.  I wonder how many of these lawyers will be sued by their ex-employer for malpractice.

Then there’s your inclination to redefine things to better fit your angry rants.  CRT, BLM, climate change, LBGT, are just a few of the many examples of terms originally used to describe programs and/or movements meant to bring light to injustices perpetrated in our society.  Rather than being willing to intelligently discuss these issues and jointly decide their merits and possible remedies, you seem to be more inclined just to slap them with your own definition to rile up the masses.  Can someone please explain to me how CRT, a group of upper-level law courses developed to teach potential lawyers about some of the racial biases that exist in our legal system, became something grade schoolteachers were misusing, and thus they should not be allowed to teach young minds about black history in America?  When America becomes a majority minority country should school kids not be allowed to learn about how Columbus opened North America to Europe?  For any who believes this denial should be covered under the bumper sticker slogan “Parent’s Rights”, do you mean all parent’s, or just white parents?

11/16/23 05:14 PM #11509

Mike Lorts

History is comprised of the GOOD, BAD and UGLY. Lessons can be learned from each category. We are doomed if we try to either ignore or whitewash history.

11/16/23 07:09 PM #11510

Michael Wetzel

I believe you are correct. I believe if we are going to teach true black history, we should start at the beginning, 4 hundred, or more years ago, and who enslaved the blacks first, for what purposes they were  used for, up until the first time white man ever set eyes on them. As for teaching our 'young minds' about fags, dykes, and queers, NO. They will learn enough of that filth when they are at the proper age........
