Bear with this old, trivia filled mind for a few minutes.  In a John Wayne movie from way back....The Undefeated....John Wayne's character was leading a wagon train and they were surrounded by the bad guys.  As he was firing out at the circling horde, he noticed a woman next to him firing her rifle.  He said words to her that burned into my mind forever, I guess:  "Windage and elevation, Mrs. Langdon.  Windage and elevation."

Now, to my point.  No matter what you think of Trump as a person, he got the job done with policies and results until two plagues hit us...The China Virus and Biden's democrat party.  That's when the USA started heading off the cliff.  So here's what I say....POLICIES AND RESULTS, PEOPLE.  POLICIES AND RESULTS.  Another way of saying this is PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH which is what we had under Trump.

This is why I say that if Trump is the nominee, I will vote for him.  Now....here comes the left wing all aflutter with their hand wringing, wailing and denials espousing their Trump Derangement Syndrome for all to see.  Bring it on.

I lay the cause of this Middle East war directly at the feet of Biden and his incompetent administration.  Starting with the Afghanistan Retreat....the draining of our Strategic Petroleum Reserves to sell the oil at a loss to our enemies....elimination of our energy independence....slow-walking assistance to Ukraine when we KNEW hell was coming....giving $6billion to our mortal enemy (Iran) who even professes they want to destroy America while ON AMERICAN SOIL....and the administration's unfathomable display of weakness to the world and ALL our enemies.  To put the exclamation point on the foregoing....Biden is an incompetent FOOL being directed by the Star Chamber.  I have NO pity for him.

John Kennedy, Senator from LA says he does not hate anyone.  He is a charitable soul.  I will leave names out, but I want to say clearly and resoundingly....I HATE THE DEMOCRAT PARTY AND NEARLY EVERYTHING IT STANDS FOR.  Never in my life have I been so ashamed of the way our country is being run.  And.....at 76 years old....I am afraid for the safety of my family.  We are at DEFCON1 at all times.  I suggest that democrats pull their heads out of the..... sand.... and see the light.  Hell is coming.

Frank- After reading your post #11046 regarding Hillary Clinton’s comments, I went back to watch the interview.  I was absolutely unnerved by hearing Clinton say it was necessary to deprogram supporters of what she called “MAGA extremists”.  Amanpour giggled at the comment instead of asking her how that differed from Joseph Goebbels’ strategy of “political decontamination” of the German people.  And people on the far left of today’s political spectrum say nothing about such rhetoric and just seem to accept it.  I am just stupefied by such tolerance.  And please folks, stop trying to make "maga" a word, and a dirty word at that.

If Hamas thinks things are bad now in the Gaza Strip just wait.  This latest Muslim attack stems back to how we pulled out of Afghanistan.  General Keith Kellog has called Joe Biden a liar when Lyin Biden said he had to pull out the way he did because that's what Trump agreed to.  Kellog said Trump told the Taliban leader that if they messed with us as we pulled back we would escalate instead of moving out.  Kellog also said Bagrahm would be held by the Americans and the American Embassy would remain open.  General Kelly says Trump demeaned the American Dead in France.  Trump says that's not true.  Have Generals ever lied?  Hell yes!!  I.E. Westmoreland lied for years during the Vietnam War.  I want you to answer a few questions.  1. Did the Russians take and occupy any countries when Trump was president? 1a.  Did Russia invade Any countries when Obama was president?  1B.  Did Russia invade any country while Biden is president?  2. Do you remember when the Wagner Group was causing trouble in Syria while supporting ISIS and killed one of our Soldiers.  What did Trump do?  He sent our Special Forces in and killed 200+- reportedly wiping out the Wagners in Syria without any American casualties.  3. Did Trump say he was going to clear ISIS from Syria?  Did we do it?  Yes!  4. Was the Border a lot more secure when Trump left office and did he actually visit the Border?  5.  Does the Border Patrol, to this day say the Border was more controlled under Trump than ever?  6.  Was there more or less crime in our Country when Trump was President?  I think Trump is an Ass BUT, there should be no argument from honest people that our Country was in a much better situation when he was President!!  P.S.  Not to mention the economy!  If I would have approved Iran getting the 6 Billion dollars, I would have insisted that they go in front of the UN and apologize for calling us "The Great Satan" and saying, "Death to America".  When you're dealing with people who will cut people's heads off and burn people in cages appeasement doesn't work!!

As to anyone on here who is somehow Ignorant, Insipid, and dishonest enough to say that somehow " the poor Palestinians or Hamas or Whatever you call them, are imprisoned within Israel with no place to go" you don't know History for the Palestinians had no place to go in any ARAB Country, but the Israelis, just getting started in their own Infant State, offered and the Palestinians accepted a place in Israel, the Gaza Strip. They were offiered through their now deceased Yasser Arafat, an equal State Solution. Arafat walked out of these meetings TWICE. The Palestinian Constitution calls for the Annihilation of the Jewish People, and the State of Israel.  You can, if your really interested and you think truly that the nasty old Israelis are de facto holding the Palestinian people captive in the Gaza Strup as Slaves, then Google what I just said. The assertion by Baribeau that somehow the Jews are too blame for the latest attacks is Tripe, the raw kind found in the slaughter house. Quit it. Baribeau  your 11078 numbers 1 through 4. You state to old fallback of the Palestinians which amounts to " the bad things we did we are not to blame for, because the Jews made us do it" Same old Tune, different year. When are you going to be smart enough to pick up on this worn our theme.

THE PRINCIPAL REASON FOR THIS LATEST ATTACK ON THE COUNTRY OF ISRAEL IS BECAUSE JOE BIDEN AND JOHN :"LURCH" KERRY WHO GAVE IRAN SIX BILLION DOLLARS, AND IRAN, EVER THE SEEKER OF TOTAL ANNIHILATION OF THE JEWS, AND ISRAEL, THEIR  COUNTRY. ARMED HAMAS, AND OTHERS WITH MISSILES, DRONES, BOMBS, SO HAMAS AND OTHERS CAN ATTACK ISRAEL. Frank W. I read your additions. and Trump can be a real ass, its downright embarrassing at times, but the overall good he did way outstrips any negatives he said, or did. I am of the opinion that the vast majority of people who profess to "hate Trump" really hate him for the "Folding Green" he carries in his pocket. When i served in the Military I had a Sargent on Okinawa who would Cuss you a mean streak and would gauge your response as an indicator of how much "Geetus": you had to do the Jobs he gave you. He would cuss me out, and I would cuss him right back. I was told that was the way to show him I could do the Job. It was good Advice. Now this Sargent had a history, he was Hungarian, and was 12 years old in the 56 Revolution. He was on one of the Ropes that tore down the Statue of Lenin Horseback on a Building in Hungary. Thereafter, he was hunted for several years by the Russian Army, to kill him. He slept in the countryside, travelled at night, and got to a European country and snuck on board a Cargo Ship headed for New York, when he got to New York, he joined the US Army, lying about his age, and became a Soldier. He loved America, and his Home was the Army. His name was Kocsis, and we used to  razz him by asking him about the Indian Tribe he was from. He would smile and Cuss us Out. But he was a great Soldier, and a good man to work for. I compare Trump to Kocsis, Trump is in my mind one ot fhose who wants to see if you "Fight Back": if you differ with him. Too many of us nowadays have been indoctrinated that we believe we must always be Courteous, even bend over backwards to Countenance the Fools amongst us. We must remember that our opinion means something, even if no one else agrees with us at the time.

SCAM ALERT!

I received an email today asking me to review and update my Social Security Statement online.  It read well with no misspellings and good punctuation. 

1.  It reflected cox.net email among other "sender info".  It wasn't clear and NOT clean.  First obvious red flag.

2.  It listed a slightly incorrect email address "at" Social Security.  Big red flag!

3.  It listed a Password of my protected file which would NEVER be on an email and, of course, does not match my correct password.  Final blow.

4.  There was NO Social Security logo to be found on the email.  Final nail!

MY OPINION:  This is a scam trying to entice you to engage a malign email address and asking you to enter sensitive info.  BEWARE!  If you get this email, check it for yourself.  I deleted the email and did NOT open anything or go in at all.  INSIDIOUS!!

Ann Kipp, thanks for you service and welcome.  I went to NAU after high school and then back after the service.

Kathy:  your work with kids with disabillities won me over and having a best friend who worked in the peace corp in Columbia I can understand the time you spent ... but helping the kids made me a believer.  Sorry for making you feel like I attacked you.  I'm a real softee for work with kids and know these kids from my son being in a program and knowing how such programs lack funds.... my son is in charge of the kitchen at a large retirement community.  he attended EVIT and soared through their program....Its just giving these kids a chance.  The school systems poured money at the adavanced learners programs, the same for average learning.. but  kids with disabillites  spent many hrs being driven to a program where they would have a limited number of teachers. (My 3 kids were in all the programs; thats why I knew what was going on)  Thank you. take a look at the EVIT program if you get a chance .... its amazing. and amazing for all the kids whether they have difficutlties or not.

Ann Kipp, When you posted before I think I thanked you but if not Thank You!!  You were one of the precious few Women who served.  By the way--I look to many sources for my news.  Israel was given the land it's on by the United Nations about a year after most of us were born.  The Muslims have attacked them numerous times because they historically just simply don't want the Jews in their neighborhood.  Although the attacks have been relatively constant, the largest attack of Israel occurred in 1967.  I got Malaria in Vietnam and was flown to the U.S.S. Sanctuary for treatment and recovery.  While rehabbing I read a book about the '67 War and the history behind it.  I envied the Israelis for their victory over a much larger enemy and compared it to how we were fighting War in Vietnam.  The Muslim Countries have never accepted Israel being there until it started getting a little better about 3 years ago when the Abraham Accords were signed.  The Wall Street Journal has reported that the Iranians have been planning this attack with Hamas for months.  I think Israel sees the Gaza Strip Muslims as a real threat and that's why they have blockaded it.  It's a sad stalemate and it's only going to get worse.  Look at a land mass map of the Middle East.  The size of Israel compared to the surrounding countries.  Israel has to defend itself!!

People, the world and especially Israel AND the USA are in deep trouble.  This war cannot be something we talk about over a hot dog at COSTCO like it's no big deal.  This is devastatingly serious and WILL have major consequences here.  To our Jewish classmates....exercise situational awareness when you go to your synagogue.  And this is happening while the Republicans in the House are in total disarray because of a few attention mongers who threw the Speaker out.  I am NOT debating their motive....just the timing.  Once again, the Republicans have shot themselves in the foot.  We need to get rid of some of them at the ballot box because they have shown a lack of maturity.

Where is Obama on Israel?  No comment from him.  He was the one who put into motion the biggest APPEASEMENT CAMPAIGN with our deadly enemies that we have ever seen.  NO comment???  He's the leader of the democrats!  We have Omar, Tlaib, AOC and the rest of "the squad" saying Israel should cool it....no matter the massacre, kidnapping and rape of their citizens.  NO comment or rebuke from Hakeem Jeffries.  Why would there be?  I'll tell you why in plain language that even the left on this site can understand....THEY HATE AMERICA!  WHAT is wrong with these people?  These democrats!  How did WE allow people like this to get into power?  We have sent $billions to the biggest sponsor of terrorism in the world while they are screaming death to America.  What is wrong with the democrats?  With Biden?  Nearly 5 million ILLEGAL ALIENS have come into our country since Biden has been in office.....but the border is secure, right?  These are NOT just people from Mexico or Central or South America.  That would be bad enough.  They have come from China, Russia, the Middle East and other countries/areas and continue daily and we have NO idea where they are OR what they are doing.  But, Biden took time to have a big BBQ at the White House yesterday and made NO comment yesterday and apparently not today, either.  Oh, that's right....it's Columbus Day and Biden's day off.  What a despicable human.

Frank, Buzz contracted malaria in Vietnam also.  He was sent to the Great Lakes Naval Hospital to recuperate, he was a pretty sick puppy.  He was released from the Marine Corps from there after he got back on his feet, then left for Aspen to become a pro-racer.  I think I'd take Aspen!
