Jason Whitlock has had a very colorful work history. After playing football at Ball University and not making it into professional sports he went into the sports journalism profession working for various newspapers, online media outlets Fox Sports, and even ESPN. Seems he kept getting fired for making outlandish and sometimes racist comments. Then in 2021 he did an interview on Fox News with Tucker Carlson after which his popularity with the far right quickly rose. Since then, he has shown a propensity to make increasingly outlandish statements to garner more traffic to his show on Blaze Media, a pay television network founded by Glen Beck. Just this month Jason commented that he didn’t like the nineteenth amendment to the constitution because it gave the right to vote to women.

If Jason is someone you look up to and believe is worthy of your efforts to copy and paste his every word, then that says more about you than him.

Hmmmmm.  Let's see.  Outlandish statements with which the left on this Forum reflect Tacit Agreement.  Too many statements to outline here, but here are the names on the left in Congress that nobody on the left on this Forum has ever criticized.  You will know what I'm referring to.

AOC

ILHAN OMAR

AYANNA PRESSLEY

RASHIDA TLAIB

AND NOW....

JAMAAL BOWMAN

CORI BUSH

GREG CASAR

SUMMER LEE

Fine, upstanding patriotic people that NO liberal on this Forum has called out for their Outlandish Statements.  The door swings both ways.  Oh, and they aren't "journalists," they are United States members of Congress.

If you fail to take exception with the bile these people spew, then that says more about you than it does about them.

Wow, I learn something new every day. Perhaps you can enlighten us all about Trump’s treason trial where he was found innocent. I must have been asleep during what would have been the biggest story in the history of American politics. As for bribery, has he already been found not guilty for bribing Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about his cheating on Melania? Oh wait, I’m thinking about the trial set for March 24, 2024, and it’s not for bribery, its for paying hush money to keep his run for president from taking a hit. I always get the paying of hush money to someone and bribery mixed up.

As for high crimes and misdemeanors, you must have skipped over the part about impeachment being a “political” process when it is applied to these issues. Any doubt whatsoever that had either of his two impeachments not been political he would have been found guilty?

I guess I don’t understand your comment about doing the same for Biden. Do what? Comment on his trials, past, present, or future? Are you sure it’s not you who is wearing blinders?

I’ll save my response to your immigration rant for another day. But please note, I’m still waiting for you to say whether you accept my challenge to debate practical solutions to the border issue. And please, in the words of Elise Stefanik, can you give me a yes or no answer?

Heil Trump

Okay Jim, I’m calling you out! Once and for all, do you or do you not read my posts? You say one thing, but your actions scream another.

As for myself, I know you will find it hard to believe, but I do take exception to certain comments made by some of those you so elegantly listed. I don’t post my disapproval not because I don’t have them, it’s just that I’m too engaged in keeping on top of all the outlandish statements made by the third-party members of congress. You know, members of the Tea Party, aka the Freedom Caucus.

Heil Trump

Jim,

Great Post with # 11982....Looks like I stirred them up with that private forum stuff....A guy just, ' Loves to Have Fun ', sounds familiar some how, doesn't it...........

I made a slight error in my Post # 11943. I stated ' the last sentence in Post # 11903 ', when I was really refering to the last sentence in Post # 11902..........

Thanks Jim.....double printing I feel is like drueling...both I do with extra talent...

Since Christmas is getting close I hope all is well with and for everyone. After talking with Santa I understand that maybe I have been tough on our NUNS. They actually did quite a job that not many teachers would and could be equiped to handle. We had 60 kids in a classroom and no one was killed in the daily performance of being in school.  Thinking back to those days of yesteryear; we would start the day with the pledge of allegence.  Sister Melanie would be in a good mood most of the day well up to dealing with a student who wanted to be elsewhere....yes ME.

On occasions, Sister Tiny would travel to our classroom with her moveabe organ..It was music appreciation. As one of the few kids that couldn't sing we received the following encourgement about how the good Lord loved to hear our voices. Sister would have various students sing alone..well up to ME.  I assume the Lord told her that this little boy was stuck with the inability to save souls through music. It seemed everyone could sing. Chatty with a love of hearing my voice propelled me in another direction; classroom humor.  I would learn my skill through after school punishment( involve staying after school; which I seemed to do quite alot). My neighbor Steve King (across the street) was given handy dandy math homework (probelems ,printed on a stack of 3 by 5 cards)  Steve was a rapid communicator such as myself but, giving me math homework would be a waste of sisterts time...I just sat their and would help with cleanup.  But Steve had other talents and would be assigned various cards as punishment...I'm quite sure Steve did them all.  Im not sure what he does today but he was amazing.  He figured out that each card had a number on it so he had the answers to each and every card..thats parochial school; it trained each and every person to learn and lead in one manner or another.

I'm quite sure that my sense of fashion was formed back then.  Boys, wore dress pants that lacked what my friends a Madison 2 would wear. All I wanted was to wear jeans yep button fly blue jeans. But, the powers at St. Thomas didn't allow the jeans...why....we were told that they would scratch the desks..yep lame at its very best.  The girls uniforms had white blouses (almost said shirts) and a red skirt. The idea was to keep poor and rich girls on the look alike generic skirt.  Over time the skirts tended to go up.. something that I must admit I loved

I stayed Catholic seeing it to be my religious option.  In my mind moving into Protestant wouldn't be a wise move....they all could sing. Yet, I wanted to sing but, somehow all songs weren't in my key.  I would still sing at mass knowing that the odds of a flying NUN coming out of the pew and entering mine was remote. Being Jewish; also involved singing and just because I had the operation doesn mean that I belonged..tho the yamulke would be cool to wear. So, I didn't move on like many others but decided to be one of the official  scribes of religious history.

Interesting how all the conservatives on this forum will immediately disagree with any progressive post. So I assume all conservatives are in agreement with the MW post #11977. If I don't get a response from all of you it will confirm my assumption that you agree with MW.

Jack Smith, who is a top 10% Trump hater has never charged Trump with insurrection.  Because I've watched "Perry Mason", " Mattlock",  and "Law & Order" I think the reason for that is because of what Trump said on January 6th.  While I didn't watch his speech on that day (because I was not a big Trump advocate even though I voted for him) I have seen replays of some parts of the speech.  The most important thing he said was, "Let's Peacefully and Patrioticly March down to the Capitol".   Words are very important and the selection of how we use words are even more important.  Trump used the word "Peacefully" first.  Emphasizing he was not promoting an insurrection or anything else that happened on that day.  Mike K.-- Did I learn anything from my many hours of watching my previously mentioned TV series?

Frank,

Your last post #11989 is a perfect example of "a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest. I suggest you listen to all the tapes during that rally. I'm go to take a wild guess where you heard Trump say the word peace. Was it Fox?🙃

Heil Trump, eh?  You've never seen me associate Biden with Hitler.  Now we're getting somewhere.  The radical left on this Forum have stepped over the line.  Oh, well.  NWMFT!!

New subject.  I recently heard a great idea on FOX for SECURING THE BORDER.  Put an entire string of COSTCO stores along the border.  Nobody will get in without the proper ID.

Why debate the border?  Secure it.  Nobody here is an expert on how to do it.  I thought I already covered this.  End of discussion.

SECURE THE BORDER!!  ENFORCE THE LAW!!  AMERICA FIRST!!

Frank W. Trump did say to those who listened to his WHOLE SPEECH that they should proceed down to the Capitol in a Peaceable and Orlderly Fashion, unfortunately, those words were actually left in a Real Journalists copy of the Speech, but the Propagandists chose to delete those words from his Speech, intending to ignite a bunch of worthless mumbo jumbo to tantalize the Excitable amongst us, which they did and spent millions of dollars doing so with the Jan. 6 Hearings. That is why Speaker of the House Mike  Johnson chose to Release all 40 thousand hours plus of the actual Videos made during the so-called Insurrection. That's why Lizbeth Chaney and Adam Kinzinger the Tearful lost their Seats in Congress and Senate. RINO's to the last.

But lets not waste Words on those with hearing defects or understanding  blockages a/k/a TDS and realize that the obsession with hating "Trumpies" and spending hours seeking to solve huge problems with Easy Solutions is a province of the deluded and Hope they can Find their Way to a iMerry Christmas and Happy New Year.

If you are  interested in an abbreviated but mostly accurate depiction of the legal system limited to Trial Procedures the Series called "Bull" with Michael Weatherly is given to entertaining and educational watching. The Fictional Series follows the Life of an Actual Psychologist who could not pass the Bar Exam, but was actually more interested in Analyzing and Predicting how Jurors would operate on a Jury. This is not a cheap option certainly but some people use it. I have an interest in the types of cases that the Trial Analysis Center actually were involved in providing services for.

A few posts back I named people that also had TDS. I was proud to be in their company. There is also something called TES (Trump excuses syndrome). Most, if not all, of you suffer from this ailment. I named politicians that had TDS and I was proud to have that same syndrome. I wonder if any of you can name politicians suffering from TES. I could name a few but I don't want to steal your thunder.

This came to me from a friend.  I did not go back and vet every syllable, and I do not know who wrote this, but I have read and heard this commentary enough to believe it.  Decide for yourself.

Abraham Lincoln is the only President to be elected with less than 50% of the votes.

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” – George Santayana

Just like Colorado now, the Democrats, who were mainly slave owners, barred Republican presidential candidate Abraham Lincoln from appearing on the ballots in 10 Southern states during the 1860 presidential election. But Abraham Lincoln was elected as the 16th President of the United States, becoming the first Republican president in American history.

NOTE: These states were South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, North Carolina, and Virginia.

NOTE: Lincoln did not appear on the ballots in those Southern states because they did not support his candidacy due to his anti-slavery stance. The Democrats wanted to keep slavery forever.

NOTE: Those slave states chose to support other candidates or not include his name on their ballots. However, despite not being on the ballots in those states, he won the election with a majority of electoral votes from the states where he was on the ballot.

MY TAKE: It’s ironic that the Republicans now are described as the racists, people who hate black people when actually, they brought slavery to an end, and the Democrats wanted to keep black people enslaved, even going to war to secede. May God help us not repeat history.

Jim,

Because it seems you are a history buff you need to turn the clock forward to the sixties. After LBJ signed the Cuvil Rights Act  all of the Dixiecrats switched from Democrat to republican. They have remained Republican because it feels like home.

So, Colorado has seen fit to bar Donald Trump from their primary ballot for something he didn't do and was never charged with, even in the Marxist District of Columbia, where he is hated the most. I agree that Trump has little to no chance of winning in Co., but if they get away with this, there will be no stopping other Marxist states from doing the same. It has been suggested that the red states should start doing the same. I tend to agree. 'What's good for the goose is good for the gander,' they say. Victor Davis Hanson, a once devout Democrat who now has switched to independent because of all the corruption he sees now in the Democrat party, does not like Trump, has never voted for him, and never will; he is also a constitutionalist and claims that what Colorado has done is unconstitutional. The Presidential election is a national election. It's just more attempts for the left to interfere in a national election.

Deshong. The only one who deserves the Hitler salute would be Joe  Biden. He has shown his Fascist side throughout his political career. He is anti-Jewish and pro-Hamas. He is pro-Iran and anti-Israel. Everything he has done, or perhaps more accurately, what he has been told to do, has hurt our country. Everything from the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan and giving away our weapons there to our enemies, to the border and the economy, to the absurd inflation and rising national debt lay at his feet. And all the blood that his anti-American policies have shed is on his hands.

Katie, I am not in any private forums. If I lived closer, I would be happy to attend your wine summit as long as the same rules apply as they do to the beer summit. That is no politics. Only friendly conversations about our lives, our interests, and memories of our school days. I attended the beer summit a few years back with friends from both sides of the aisle. It was a very friendly meeting.

have a great day.

All demoncrats, Mr. Lorts ?

After the assassination of President John F. Kennedy--a strong proponent of civil rights--in late 1963, Southern Democrat Lyndon B. Johnson saw it as his mission to pass the Civil Rights Act as a tribute to Kennedy, who had first proposed the bill five months before he was killed.  Democrats in the Senate, however, filibustered it.

In June of 1964, though, the bill came up again, and it passed...over the strenuous objections of Southern Democrats.  80% of House Republicans voted for the measure, compared with just 61% of Democrats, while 82% of Republicans in the Senate supported it, compared with 69% of Democrats.

Nearly all of the opposition was, naturally, in the South, which was still nearly unanimously Democratic and nearly unanimously resistant to the changing country.  One thing that most assuredly didn't change, though, was party affiliation.  A total of 21 Democrats in the Senate opposed the Civil Rights Act.  Only one of them, "Dixiecrat" Strom Thurmond, ever became a Republican.  The rest, including Al Gore, Sr. and Robert Byrd--a former Exalted Cyclops in the Ku Klux Klan--remained Democrats until the day they died.

Wednesday, that's yesterday, for some of you. The great biden, bragged about how he defyed the Supreme Court, regarding his paying off student debt. Stating, " I still got 136 million people's debt relieved ". As of early December, the biden administration has written off roughly 132 billion in student loan debt, for 3.6 million borrowers. That means biden overshot the number of people affected, by 133 million. Just 40 million people hold student loan debt. That leaves roughly 290 million people, who do not have student loans, to finance student loan debt, with their tax dollars ! Yup, bidens really with it, wouldn't you say ? But hey, that shouldn't be any problem for all you socialist, with your high dollar homes, IRA's , etc., etc., that's just pocket change for you, right.............

Quotes attributed to Adolph Hitler:

"I will get rid of the 'communist' 'vermin',"

"I will take care of the 'enemy within',"

"Jews and migrants are poisoning Aryan blood.”

"One people, one realm, one leader."

Quotes attributed to Donal J. Trump:

"I will get rid of the communist vermin."

"I will take care of the threat from within.”

"Migrants are 'poisoning the blood of our country.'"

"'One people, one family, one glorious nation."

In a recent campaign speech in Massachusetts Trump said he has never read Main Kampf, and I believe him. In fact, I doubt if he has ever read an entire book in his life, not even The Art of the Deal which he paid Tony Schwartz to write. But in the same speech Trump went on to say Hitler didn’t mean what he said in the same way as he did, so he admitted to at least having knowledge of the sort of antisemitic rhetoric used by Hitler. If so, one might wonder why he would decide to use the same sort of language and run the risk of being criticized.

It is easy to understand why Trump made those comments. First, he was simply reading off a teleprompter the words written for him by Stephen Miller, his top advisor, speech writer, and a known white supremist. It was Miller who was the architect of Trump’s “No Muslims Allowed” policy and  It was also Miller who wrote the speech Trump gave on January 6, 2021, just prior to the attack on the Capital.

Second, Trump knows his audience very well and has honed the art of getting them riled up. Just as Hitler was able to stir the fires in the hearts of German citizenry in the 1920s and 30s who were lamenting their losses in WWI, Trump goes out of his way to work up the 25% of Americans who still think George Wallace should have been elected president and believe the 2020 election was stolen, regardless of what the courts say. He vehemently wants to be seen as the great uniter while at the same time going out of his way to be the great divider.

Trump often makes comments that are so outlandish that they are scary. Afterwards the news media outlets ask other republicans what they think about what he said and they either dance around it without answering it at all, or they laugh and say he really didn’t mean it and was just joking. “I’ll be a dictator on day one,” is just one such comment that comes to mind. The problem is, there are numerous examples that show he means exactly what he says. It is no secret he greatly admires authoritarian leaders and has even said he wished he had their power, and when (if?) reelected in 2024 he would totally revamp the executive branch and assume many of the powers other dictators wield. Remember, these are the same goals Hitler had before he took over Germany from Keiser Wilhelm.

So, excuse me if I believe Trump would love to follow in Hitler’s footsteps. I just don’t want to be like the frog in a pan of water being heated to a boil. I prefer we put out the flame before we all regret our inaction.

Heil Trump

Lorts- re 11988 .  You assume that all conservatives on this forum immediately reject any “progressive” thoughts or opinions posted here.  Not sure how you define “progressive” in your world view, but if you mean to include rational, practical and reasonable liberal views, then your post is not factual. When I say liberal views, I do not mean progressive or leftie views.

If your world view of  the term “progressive” coincides with politicians like AOC and “The Squad”, as labeled in most media outlets, then, I believe, your post would be much more factual.

Re: 11993, you state that “most, if not all” conservatives on this forum suffer from something you coined as “Trump excuses syndrome”, or TES. Again, this is not factual. A few conservatives here are not really desiring a repeat Trump/Biden election. Having said that however, these people have often stated they would vote for Trump over Biden, if that were the choice. Not exactly TES. You could call it BIS, or Biden Ineptitude Syndrome, if you were intellectually honest with yourself.

Bill, I don’t want to step on Mike’s potential response, but I must ask – do you assume all liberals on this forum immediately reject any “conservative” thoughts or opinions posted here? Can you tell us how you define “conservative” in your world view?

Does your world view of the term “conservative” coincide with politicians like Jim Jordon, Mike Goetz, Andy Biggs, or Marjorie Taylor Green? Is there any room in your world for a conservative republican who does not abide by the beliefs of the Freedom Caucus?
