Good synopsis Bill K.!  I pray we don't get into a hot war because in addition to your assessment we have two other gigantic issues that handcuff us.  Our SPR (Strategic Petroleum Reserve) and our inventory of artillery shells is at or very near the lowest level in history.  (Because we're sending our shells to Ukraine). Chinas economy is heading in to a bad position but that militarily could go either way?

Frank. The lack of our strategic oil reserve and our military equipment shortage is one of my greatest concerns—one of Biden's policies that Greg mentioned. It reminds me of when Trump first took office, and a general told him we were out of ammunition. President Trump ordered a quick manufacturing and stockpiling of fresh ammunition. He also authorized billions of dollars to build new ships, aircraft, and ground equipment. Much of that is now in our enemies' hands, thanks to another one of Biden's great policies. 

We are not adequately prepared to fight the types of war that are being talked about. We can only pray that a strong "AMERICA FIRST " President gets into office before it's too late.

I am much more cynical than most of you perhaps because of my own legal puursuits Ive becoms more familiiar with the subtle Guile liars practice. Biden has drained the Strategic oil Reserve attempting to 'Soften the Emergency he Created" while simultaneously forbidding our Pumping Oil Wells, Coal Mining, and Natural Gas Production to not only make us dependent on Foreign Sources, but also create double digit Inflatiion, ALL ON PURPOSE, so that our Enemies can conquer us through our Economical Breakdown. Biden is doing it very well, and is so arrogant he smirks at any investigation of his monetary returns from dealing with China, Russia, Ukraine, and other leftist oriented sectors of Government. I am fed up with Biden, and Democrats as a whole who are unchallenged Experts at blaming anyone else but themselves for the Disaster we will soon Face. It's Amazing to me that Biden could get by with using 3 other ID;s to EMail over 4500 communications with others outside the Government while the Vice President using his son as his errand boy and sit on them at National Archives for over six years. Talk about low life spies and lackeys. Truly Disgusting. Hillary did this to the Tune of 33 Thousand Never located emails, she was never even called to answer for this, now we have the same bullshit with Biden, let alone the bogus results of the 2020 Election which I beleve was STOLEN FROM TRUMP, AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. 

I hear more and more often from people that I meet at the Court house, people who work for a living, who are law abiding, and respectful of authority, that they are fed up with Joe Biden, that his actions have ruined their prospects of retirement, and has drained their money set aside for emergencies, and they want him GONE BEFORE 2024. HE IS NOT RESPECTED OR TRUSTED AND HIS CAPACITY TO LEAD IS  SERIOUSLY IN QUESTION.

I agree with so much you said.  In addition, i'm very disappointed with the Justice department When President Obama came into office the country was having a fire sale with lets destroy with equal and move it into the people who support us want this and that so since they pay the bill thats what is going to happen...yes I do remember President Trump being their; but he did little to make adjustments to the Justice department- it was left to run on its own merry little way.  I haven't felt safe. Even now people are cautious about what they say or write.  Look at how many write on this forum and the many that may be afraid to say anything.  I"m probably more liberal than most if not all the conservatives but I enjoy seeing other points of view.  I have experienced more name calling from liberals  vs the conservatives.

After Obama, i felt like the constitution was written on toilet paper just getting ready for one huge shit before use and flush. If I see something I don't liked; I will speak about it, and vote to end it.

Not all Democrats or Independents are causing whats wrong with America as well as not all Republicans are pure as the driven snow.  If we don't work together whats going to happen in the future will make whats happening now look like free admission and free rides at Disneyland.

I'm amazed at what President Biden is allowed to get away with.  Its not just kissing babies and promising a free lunch.  Thank goodness the boarder govenerors are sending bodies to the free states of denial.  It sure has made the free states feel like its time to stop the turpintine enema.  CONTROL THE BOARDER,  NO FREE BEES, DON'T EXPECT TO BE TREATED LIKE A CITIZEN.

Good for you Dennis for admitting that, as a Democrat, we are in a mess because of Lyin Biden and his band of lying crook idiots.  You are the ONLY Democrat on this Site that has!!  I was watching CNBC (business station) yesterday morning and Rick Santilli was pointing out that 7 out of the last eight months the unemployment numbers and the job numbers the White House has given us have been adjusted up for unemployment and down for number of jobs created.  And some months they've been adjusted twice negatively.  KJP (Lyin Biden's Press Secretary) on Thursday actually said while answering a question by a Non-FOX reporter that Lyin Biden has done more to Secure the Border than any other President.  We have never had a Media be so complicit in lying to the American people.  Lyin Biden even mentioning his kitchen fire shoes just how big a piece of crap he is.  He had a second house to move into unlike the vast majority of the Hawaiians.  I saw an angry Hawaiian, of Polinisian descent, yesterday say to Biden, "You can give Ukraine 40 billion dollars but you give us almost nothing!"  I can't believe the Democrats will let him run again, or that if he does, that he can win.  Or for that matter, any Democrat can win?  God help us if they do!!

Bill....we're surrounded and I BELIEVE our greatest enemy is the radical democrat party.  They are NOT coming to the aid of our country....they are lying to our faces every day....and they are destroying our country from within.  I am dug in on our biggest threat (other than the democrats) being the open border and the millions of un-vetted, un-vaccinated parasites coming in who are beginning to hasten the destruction of our country from within.  I don't want to hear about how many of them are good people.  THEY BROKE OUR LAW and they should be ejected from the country!   The democrats want to give them jobs and the vote!!  That was the plan all along and we cannot let that happen.

Jim. I am appalled at what Michael K. called the guile of liars. DC is full of them. Alejandro Mayorkis is among the best of them. He can stand there with a straight face and calm voice and tell you that the border is not open. Perhaps a little lesson on the difference between open and closed is due here. If a door is OPEN, people can pass through. If a door is CLOSED people are not allowed to pass through. Take any 6-year-old to the border, and they will tell you that people are passing through. Mr. Mayorkas, THE BORDER IS NOT CLOSED. IT IS WIDE OPEN!

Hopefully, we will elect a strong Republican President who will appoint an equally strong AG who will appoint several special counsels to investigate all of this injustice.

I'm still wondering how much the cartels are paying this administration to allow them operational control of the border.

As a somewhat oblique comparison to demonstrate the Guile of Government whelps, our State Legislature in Sacramento, Ca. just passed a Bill which has effectively done away with probably the most Elementary issue that our US Constitution, Second Amendment, was passed to preserve. The Right to Defend one's own Self, and your own property from Theft and Destruction. If you saw it, you will recall that in a Convenience Store in Northern California, two proprietors of the Store stopped a looter who had grabbed for his own use a Plastic Garbage Container so that he could openly Loot the Store of it's Inventory of Cigarettes, Cigarette Cartons, and related Tobacco Products.Now as far as Tobacco products are concerned, I am not currently or have almost never supported a Dog in that fight, but the point is the products represent the Inventory of the Store, and represent a Form of Income to the owners. Well the owners forcibly removed the Garbage Container from the Gremlin who was openly Stealing the entire contents of all the Shelves in the Store, wrestled him down, and began beating him betimes with a Stout, Round, Wooden Dowel while said Gremling lay on the floor bleating about gettting the theft demon beat out of him. 

All wondered, what would be the outcome for the Store owners, we all were satisfied when the local DA decided NOT TO ARREST AND CHARGE THE OWNERS WITH DEFENDING THEIR PROPERTY. WOW, IN Califonia, what a RELIEF FROM THE USUAL LIBERAL CRAP WE ENDURE HERE IN THE "GOLDEN STATE". OUR JOY HAS BEEN SHORT LIVED. THE SACRAMENTO STATE ASSEMBLY PASSED A NEW BILL MAKING IT A CRIMINAL OFFENSE TO PROTECT YOUR OWN PROPERTY BY BEATING THE SNOT OUT OF THE WOULD BE THIEF. THE IMPACT OF THIS STUPIDITY IS TO SIGNAL AN OPEN RANGE FOR THIEVES STATE WIDE TO LOOT US AND WE CANNOT FIGHT BACK OR WE WILL FACE BEING CHARGED WITH A FELONY/FELONIES (FOR THE NUMBER OF TIMES YOU STRIKE THE GREMLIN)

RE. Your email post about the assassination of Trump. The DC Marxists would never try that. They know that if Trump is assassinated he will become a martyr and almost any Republican can win the presidency. They don't want that. However, I wouldn't put it past some crazy Trump hater to try it. Trump knows the danger, and his Secret Service people and private security also realize it and will be looking out for that possibility. I believe that Trump is the only one who can effectively stand up to the haters of the Constitution and our freedom. Let's hope and pray that nothing like that happens to him.

First, thanks Frank and Jim for Sunday funnies.  Loved hearing; I don't think we even received a Christmas card from them.... and Its no sun.  Sorry but, at 76 I still hear the rock music playing in the background.  Not the ones that the politicians stole but my own.  As for my music ambitions; yep i have a guitar and an amp. and im still amazed I can't play Stairway to Heaven... aside from no talent, and i'm unable to  read music.  Maybe because of the way I dance my wife learned to like Country.

Having been a college graduate is an awsome responsibility that I have failed at on many curcumstances..As from my past writtings; my English is close to a vacuum cleaner- it sucks. .  As for sports, I played hockey for about 10 years and made myself into a penalty box groupie. checking, roughing, hooking were learned behaviors I picked up.  yes I acknoledge slashing.  Well having the spirit of 76, climbing stairs has become my sport.

With retirement I have learned that i enjoy playing records, building models (it does sound boring) I just started the models and at my age I paint everything in camouflage colors... its the best of not being into paint by number sets.  Since im a teatoater going to sporting events and yelling out so is you mother has been romoved from my past.   But lately over the last 10 years I got into Ancestry and i didn't have to become Mormon to research.   where else can you find one of your relatives was a farmer, a criminal, a nun and no where will you find that your relatives were Republicans or Democrats ... well unless they list the crime that took you to prision. Every once in awhile you look up people you know... so if I ever ask a question its not for something that i plan to sell to stud farm. I do share information about people to people who are curious about themselves.  Nothing goes outside...well i haven't been given a price that would make that another part of my experience.

Ok how many have received more than their share of telemarketers who will use phone numbers that may of belonged to sister Bernadete... just to make you want to buy. My favorites so far are the Indians (from India) who want to sell you everything..except discounts on model paints. Social Security, Solar, Police and Fire retireeees.. I will leave you with my best response to the taking care of death benefits...well when the Indian in broken (time to deport) english was moving along with his speal and I promply said, I don't need it; im dead already..i like the cussing afterwards... so much for salesmanship.

Ps listing to Stevie Nicks oh how I love the lisp..  it makes me feel guilty ... sorry sister Terease Marie it is perverted but its what i enjoy..

Did you happen to see the video of the huge fat black guy who tried to rob a jewelry store in L.A?  He came in...sprayed bear spray in the faces of the employees of this family owned store, but was met with a serious beat down....lost his shirt....almost lost his pants and ran away.  He's still AT LARGE....pun intended.

I presume those employees and family will do time in Attica for trying  to defend their property.

Watching the News tonight and was made aware of the fact that the "Burning Man" get together in Nevada takes place near Gerlach, Nevada. In a place called Black Rock City. This gave me insight into the location where this actually occurs. I was in a 4 day Junket in the Great Black Rock Desert in Northwest Nevada on an Invitation from the BLM Manager for that Area which encompasses over One and Half Million Acres in NW Nevada. We were Horseback and were counting Wild Horses which meant about 13-16 miles a day horseback and finding the herds of Wild Horses in the various Herds that ran wild out there. Jimmy Massey was the BLM Manager and he took us out each morning and gave us different colors, and Genders of horses to Count. There were over 1400 head of Horses out there. One group of Wild Horses saw us and about 30 of them in a large group, ran across the black rocks (thus the name the Great Black Rock Desert) as if the rocks meant nothing but the noise they made sounded like Bells ringing. Wild Horses have much harder hooves than any domesticated Breed of Horse.

Nothing quite compares to waking up at 5 AM and seeing on the sides of the hills about a mile away from you, Wild Horses grazing on the sides of the hills on the grass. It was in March 2001 and we had not had the complete onset of Spring yet, so it snowed one morning and rained the other 3 days. 

I could see those Horses in their natural state and felt like they sure didn't need us to keep them going, in fact, I felt out of place as if I disappeared they wouldn't give a hang if they never saw any of us again. Last time I had felt like that was diving off Catalina Island and seeing all the different colored fish and other life at 60 feet under off of the Western side of Catalina. There were other Divers who were from Phoenix and they "knew the ropes" so to speak, and they had large Tubes which looked like giant hypodernics and they were collecting these brilliantly colored in pink, black, and purple worm like creatures, that I discovered were very valuable in Ocean type Fish Acquariums that people kept in their homes. 

Seeing creatures in Nature, who don't really consider us as being necessary, is rather refreshing, and humbling, and I like knowing that they may categorize us kinda like we categorize them. Ho Him look at those two legged creatures, must be slow going for them Wonder how they get enough to Eat?

Thank you to all of you who responded to my message about our grandson Toby who has enlisted in the Army.  He leaves next week.  He came over with his family early Sunday morning, and Rich and I had planned a small ceremoy out side around the flagpole for him.  I wrote a message of encouragement to him, including his God given gifts and abilities.  Then told him we had added a solar light to our flagpole so we could fly the flags 24/7.  We had him help raise our US flag, then the Army flag we had bought - all the family had a part in the raising.  We told Toby we would be flying both the flags in his honor until his tour of duty is over.  The flags will also be a great reminder to pray for him, as well as all those serving for our freedoms.  It was quite meaningful, emotonal and perfect!  We then had a quick breakfast before leaving for church.  During bagels, I read Toby your comments and he was moved that you would send them!  One of you asked what he plans to specialize in:  he's going in as a "68 Whiskey Medic".  He scored in the 97% of his testing, and his recruiter told hm he could chose whatever specialty he wanted!  He's also going to go to the 82nd airborne jump school after medic training.  We are so very proud of him!  He has the drive to go after what he is wanting, and I see strong leadership skills in him.....well, yes, I am a bit biased!  Thanks again for caring enough to respond!      Nancy

Nancy.  For Toby...."Fair winds and following seas."  It's a nautical phrase meaning good luck.  Since the Marine Corps is part of the Navy, I have borrowed that nautical saying from time to time.

Finally:  Medics....like Toby will be....are called corpsmen in the Marines....borrowed again from the Navy.    In Vietnam I had two favorite "people."  Corpsmen and helicopter pilots.
