Greg,

I would like you to very slowly read the first sentence of your last post.

I think it should be essential that all of you look at the YouTube video Newhart/Amazon explorer. It's almost scary how similar that video is compared to all of your paranoia.

Let's see, We KNOW the FBI was in contact with both Facebook and Twitter getting negatives about Hunters Laptop Story when they had the Laptop in their possession and knew what was on it.  The FBI knew that 1. When Lyin Biden said he didn't know anything about his son's business it was a giant lie and the proof was on the laptop. 2. When Lyin Biden, during the Presidential Debate, said 40 or maybe it was 50 National Security People said the Laptop was Russian disinformation, that was also a lie.  Anyone who wants to know the lurid facts about the Hunter Laptop might want to watch the Three Part Series "Who's Hunter" on FOX Nation.  They actually show damning emails from Hunter that exposes Lyin Biden.  The FBI had all those emails before the election.  It's not paranoia when facts are involved.  It's not paranoia when we know that James Comey admitted that Hillary committed crimes but let it slide.  It's pretty obvious when our Justice System prosecutes General Flynn but let's Liberals slide there is corruption in that Justice System!!

For Valentine's Day this year I gave my wife my ATM Card and told her to buy something really nice for herself and gave her my PIN code:  (3x3-XT2X-4)dx   Divided by   Vx2-3x+2.   All she needs to do is solve the equation!!  Thank God she's a Librarian and not a Math Major!'

Lorts, I believe Trump was and is right regarding his beliefs on how the swamp is destroying America. The left's policies and ideas are taking America down the road to socialist and communism. I believe there are some psuedo-republicans in this group as well. I don't like what's going on today. Biden has only exasperated the negative issues we face everyday. If you like the direction this country is going g, then say so.

Mike L. Thanks for the compliment. I don't consider myself that intelligent, but I am well-read. You should see my library. I know that we have different opinions on politics, and expressing those views is our constitutional right. But my opinions are based on facts. Remember Joe Friday on Dragnet "JUST THE FACTS." I watch clips from CNN and MSNBC, and I don't see much in the way of facts. I hear mostly left-wing rhetoric based on what the left tells them. I don't think I was stuttering in my comments, and I'm sure my tongue was firmly planted between my teeth. Yes, I meant every word of what I said, and Greg and others with an open mind see it too. Either you are blind to it, or you are part of it.

After reading my extensive comic book collection I came back to the computer; it contained years worth of love from the liberal and conservative branches.  Its a shame where you can only say F..    O..  using A+ english.

Well as a proud graduate of C english.....sorry I just don't care.

I didn't know that Walt Disney was a Marine.....very cool.

speaking of Marines; of all the people I have come in contact with they were the teachers and leaders. It surprised me because I saw where they lived...no not the ones gomer pyle was in. They were dumps, they made my Air Force baracks look like the Hilton.

I saw the state of the union address and the republican reply..... both were interesting....I didn't like the rudeness that was being shown to the president.  That rudeness continues from Obama, Trump and now Biden and it seems to be getting stronger and more ruthless.  We are now a country of extremes.... Its who can get in the lattest rude remark.  Maybe we all  can express our opinion...with me you don't need examples to prove your point......I just want what you think...The only reading on a grand scale is the SPARE ; thats long enough....

elect, relect, change is needed......term limits are too long....get them in and get them out...

Boarder security...if you get caught with drugs...then you have to take them all where we found you...oh and please dig your grave.

To my conservative friends,

I do not agree with some of the changes Biden has done. However, I support many of the changes. Improvements to our crumbling infrastructure, lowering prescription drug prices, etc. Republicans gave me no choice in 2020. Let's see what choice they give me in 2024. I know DeSantis is your new darling but I can't get behind someone that dictates what to read or say. The old Republican Party wanted to shrink government involvement in our private lives but he wants to have the government replace a parents obligation to monitor what their children read or see.

Two Republican politicians have been killed in New Jersey in the last week.  I wonder if it was those mean MAGA people who did the killings?

Voters in Florida can vote their politicians out of office if they don't like what they do. That's true for California, New York, DC and etc. Desantis is doing what the majority want, that' why Florida has gone red and more right thinking people are moving there. All demographics have moved more to Republican and Democrat are loosing. Typical left wing hipocrites, blue leadership can dictate and manage how they want(government control) but reds not so much, laughable if not disgusting.

I heard this evening an excellent outline of FACTS by Kevn McCarthy, Speaker of the House, which very clearly stated the Broad View of the Dilemma that this pretender in the WH has deliberately chosen the lay on the entire American population as a result of Policies that have systematically ripped up the Fabric of our entire Economy. To brag that you have created 512,000 new jobs is lame, when you also should know that no one wants to take them when they can get more money by staying home on unemployment benefits, rather than take a minimum wage job in an economy thats in a Recession.

As you may have guessed, I have no use for Joe Biden. He's what cowboys call a Gunsel, give him a shovel and have him clean the horse stalls while the men go to work, and hope when you get back he hasn't destroyed the Barn while you were gone. For you Whatever You Call Yourselves on this Chat, it's time to wake up and admit that joe biden is a planned Train Wreck, and probably a lot worse. I have my doubts, reasonable doubts, about the continued Efficiency and Ethics of a host of the Federal Administrative Agencies, the FBI, the DOJ, the CIA, and a host of others. Seems to me a MAJOR HOUSECLEANING/DISMANTLING/REORGANIZATION IS NOT ONLY IN ORDER, BUT A MATTER OF SURVIVAL OF OUR REPUBLIC.

Sorry for the late notice but I just got this message from a friend:  "I have 2 Box Seat tickets for the Super Bowl game this Sunday.  I paid $21,500 each.  They come with lunch, dinner, and a $400 bar tab.  Also, a locker room pass to the Winners Locker Room.  I bought them not realizing that it's the same day of my wedding.  If you're interested, I'm looking for someone to take my place.  It's at All Saints Church in Mesa at 6:00 PM.  Her name is Amy.  She's 5'4", about 115 lbs. She loves to hunt and fish and is a great cook.  She'll be in a White Dress.

I want to take a break from the usual politics and express my sorrow for the people in Syria/Turkey dealing with the devastating earthquake that has claimed over 22,500 victims. Keep them in your prayers.

Mr. Lorts  I fully agree with your 9241 about the Earthquakes in Turkey. California is supposedly overdue for one of those as well. In 94 when we had the Earthquake in Northridge, Ca. it knocked down the 14 Freeway overpass which linked the 14 Freeway with the Golden State Freeway I-5 southbound and northbound, and it  became a Traffic Jam nightmare. It was a 3 and a half hour traffic congested trip from where I lived to Long Beach where I worked. That was only a 7.1. The ones in Turkey have been 7 plus and in a swarm. Prayers for those people in Turkey.

Michael K.--I know California has strengthened its Building Codes but based on the damage in Turkey they haven't.  The amazing thing about the Northrodhe quake is how fast they got the freeway damage fixed.  My understanding was that the Contractor had a clause in his contract that paid him more if he finished quicker.  Remember in Phoenix about the time we were in High School they would pave a street and a week later tare it up because they supposedly forgot something.  It seemed like 24th Street was always torn up.

Frank W. I always get a laugh out of your Sunday Funnies. Good Humor is always welcome. Back when California had a big Earthquake the Legislature got real busy passing Legislation ordering all new construction of housing to be reinforced with Steel Girders etc. and the Contractor which i Believe was Zapata along with Beck Construction were given a Bonus for completion of the 14 Freeway overpass I mentioned earlier. A Highway Patrolman on his way to work that morning went off the Freeway overpass to his death due to the collapse of the Freeway, and a Tractor-Trailer Rig driver was stranded on part of the overpass still standing after he got his Rig stopped in time. I think he was choppered lifted down, or came down by a rope. I lived in the Antelope Valley/Agua Dulce/Acton area at the time, and I remember waking up a little after 4 AM when my dog jumped on my chest and woke me up and he was growling, shortly after about fifteen seconds later every thing began shaking rattling and rolling and electricity was gone. I managed to get out of bed, put on my clothes, and head outside, and it was very cold because it was January 4th I believe, still winter. I was renting, and shortly after i got outside I saw a cigarette lighter flick on and my next door  neighbor lit up a smoke, I said Dave, what are you doing and he said "Im checking for Gas leaks" I responded  "Dave, I think you already did" somewhat morbid humor but appropriate at the time. Looking south from Agua Dulce and even with a range of mountains between Agua Dulce and the Pasadena area, we could see the Electric Transformers exploding glows as the Electricity Grid began getting overloaded from the increased usage as everyone got up and turned lights on. The Construction companies rebuilding that Freeway got the Job done in Record Time in I believe 6 months when the projected time was 1 and 1/2 to 2 years. They deserved the Bonus which was substantial. That was 19 years ago now. We had aftershocks for about 3 months after that quake, and in one of the aftershocks I was going up a small hill on a dirt road after feeding my horses, and an aftershock that was about a 5.1 started. I had a D9 Caterpillar next to me on the right, and it was probably 3 feet away, and I remember seeing the Tracks on that Heavy piece of Machinery jumping up and down rapidly like somebody dribbling a basketball even though a D9 Cat weighs quite a few tons. Amazing the power of the Earth moving like that. Those tracks were coming off the ground about five inches at every Tremor.

Michael K.--I was in two earthquakes stationed in California.  The first one was in early '68 when I was at Camp Pendleton.  We were in formation at attention, and about a mile or more in front of us we could see power poles swaying.  Then watched as the earth rolled coming towards us.  There weren't any buildings around us or anything to fall on us but a couple Californians in the formation yelled to get down so we did.  It was a very weird feeling as the tremors went through where we were.  The second was in the Fall of '69 when I was stationed in San Francisco.  It was on a Friday evening and I was having a drink at the Marine Memorial Club which is downtown.  The bar is on the 10th floor and looks out over the City.  My drink actually slid about a foot and a half to my lefts down the bar and then slid back to almost exactly where it started from.  You are exactly right about the power of Nature.  It doesn't pick and choose.  I used to do a lot of Body Surfing and Boogie Boarding and the power of the Ocean can be another example of Mother Natures rath.

Frank, I too was in the '69 San Francisco, Loma Prieta, earthquake.  I was standing on a beach near Santa Cruz, about 10 miles from the epicenter.  It took a few long seconds to figure out what was happening.  My parents lived in San Mateo and it took hours to get there with all the power and signals out and some roads unusable.  The only damage to my parents home was they lost the barroom, all the glasses slid off the shelves and everything that could break, did, but the rest of the house came through it with only a few cracks.

I was living in LA during the 1971 Sylmar earthquake.  Crystal 'walked' out of cupboards and shattered, but the worst damage was when a huge brick from our brick-and-board (i.e., grad student) bookshelf fell on our TV set (the kind with a great big tube) and ruined it.  Was waking up in the night for weeks afterward thinking there was another one coming.  California has beefed up construction regulations over the years to help minimize damage to property and life but unfortunately this hasn't been possible around the world.

I saw Lt. Gen. (Ret) William Boykin interviewed this a.m.  He was the former commander of Delta Force and was Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence under George W. Bush.

Briefly, he said that the balloon that Biden allowed to traverse most of the lower U.S. could have been equipped with a device that could have caused an EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) that could have taken out the American electrical grid.  Additionally, it could have contained biological warfare material that could have (obviously) been devastating.  You know....like the China Virus that killed a million Americans.  Apparently, it did not contain that material, BUT "we" allowed it in the door when we could have taken it down far away from the lower 48 states.  I believe I have mentioned this possibility several times.  Why do I do it???  To try to convince some to stop blindly following the left as they lead us over every cliff imagineable.  Follow the Money!

Hmmmmm....what does that remind me of?  Oh yeah.  Maybe the millions of unvetted illegals that have and continue to pour across our border(s), INCLUDING well over a million gotaways.  This is reminiscent of the Trojan Horse story (myth) where Greeks entered the city of Troy and destroyed it from the inside out.

Enjoy the Super Bowl.

AMERICA FIRST!!  SECURE THE BORDER!!!!!  TERM LIMITS!!

P.S.  I have never been in an earthquake.  It's unimagineable.  Prayers to those who are suffering in Turkey.  To those who live in California....best wishes because it is said another one is coming your way.  Make plans.

Jim,

I've heard that the three balloons that violated our air space during the previous administration were loaded with biological viruses. I thought I would throw that into the "what if" mix. We'll never know because they let them get away.

I too, feel for those affected by the Turkey earthquake. I've never been near any epicenter, but I have felt the effect of some far away from the way they travel through the earth's mantle. Even that is an eerie feeling to feel my chair rocking under me. There have been many severe earthquakes in our lifetime, killing thousands and causing billions in destruction. These should not be made political, but I'm sure that some climate religion guru will find a way to blame them on climate change.
