What I'm up to now:

Was the Exalted Ruler of the Santee-Lakeside Elks Lodge 2013-2014. A wonderful experience for an outstanding organization.
My son has two girls and my daughter has two girls and a boy. My oldest granddaughter just made me a great grandmother. They all call me Nana.

My husband Harry Kaye Varner was killed in Viet Nam in 1966. We were married 1 year and 15 days. He was in Viet Nam 3 weeks when he came home in a box. The same week I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant.
