There are many posts here that I would like to respond to, so I will try to combine them all into one.

I agree that Cristy Noam would make a good vice president. Not that she would ever have reason to take Trump in the back of the White House, but because she projects strong leadership. 

Yes, I read Katie's post, all 569 words of it. Like I said before, I will not respond to anyone who claims to have all the facts, truth, and information on anything. Not one conservative here would claim that. 

Bill R. Your post 13526 shows that the bulk of donations to U.S. universities come from nations that are not particularly friendly to America. That explains a lot. However, it does not include the donations of Communist NGOs such as the Sorus family, whose only intent is to destroy America and bring it down to Communism. Yes, the circle of left—and right-wing politics, Communism and Fascism, has gone full circle and has joined under one banner—the banner of Socialism and dictatorship. 

Michael K., Great post, as usual. None of us can expect to change other people's minds. It's like the old saying, "DON'T BOTHER ME WITH THE FACTS; MY MIND IS MADE UP." Urging these people to read the Bible will be of no avail since most of them do not believe in God and, therefore, do not believe what is written in it. Israel has been fighting the Palestinians since the time God led them into the promised land. Back then, they were called the Philistines. God led Israel to defeat the Philistines and took possession of the land "from the river to the sea." I won't give a complete Bible study on this at this time. Some would scoff at it anyway. Israel is still fighting the Philistines (Palestine) today.

And now, a quick note on the issue of Easter vs. Transgender Day. Around 300 AD, the Catholic Church was founded at the Council of Nicea in Rome​. Easter observance was instituted to be celebrated on a specific Sunday in the spring. I think this should void any other Satanic celebrations on that day. The idea that people can change their gender just by saying so is a Satanic idea. Can a plant have only stamens or only pistles? Can a cow have both a penis and udders? It doesn't matter which parts you have removed or changed or what hormones you take; it doesn't change your gender. Males cannot get pregnant. or give birth to a child. Women cannot produce semen and impregnate a male. These people are nothing more than gay crossdressers and should not replace 2000-year-old Christian observances with their wickedness. Oh, the crazy ideas Satan can put into people's minds that they are so eager to accept.

Katey, I will respond to your latest post because I do not consider it political. I do not know of any time you have called me names, but you have often implied our ignorance of what you call facts. From your non-political posts, I believe that you are a good person. Perhaps I would consider you a friend outside of politics. I have expressed my concerns over your daughter's bout with cancer. I, myself, have lost loved ones in my family due to this terrible disease, so I can empathize. We have many political differences, and I know that none of us will ever change that. My saying that I do not care to banter words with far-left supporters was not meant just for you but for others of your political standing. You did call all of us ignorant by not believing YOUR facts and information.

Looking back on the past primary season, I can attest to the fact that many, if not most, conservatives here were not supporters of Trump. Being a Trump supporter throughout, I guess I could be labeled a 'Trumpie.' Even still, it seems that most conservatives here think of Trump only as the least of two evils. It seems to me that it is Katey who has her 'Tidey Whities' tightly in a twist over those who don't buy into her liberal ideas. Democrats need to wake up and realize that today's liberals are not the liberals of our father's day. Being labeled a Trumpie is a badge of honor to me, not an insult.

Michael W. 'Tightly whities,' That's a good one. I think it refers to an old Tide laundry soap commercial that said it would make whites "WHITER THAN WHITE" or "TIDEY WHITIES," in this case referring to underwear. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

My Wife and I, are doing better. We both tested negative after 2 and a half weeks of torture. Unfortunately, it has left its mark on both of us. Stomach issues, and breathing problems for me. Obviously, it's much harder on us old people, at least the ones we know who have experienced the covid. My barber had it twice, and just shrugged it off, like no big deal. I don't like him anymore, just joking. I have been catching up on reading the latest on this site. Interesting to say the least. I see the Dick, is still a Dick ! You haven't responded yet.  Or is it just when we, the Progressives, call names that your tighty whities wad up.  In my opinion, calling people who will support trump trumpies is on a different level than the filth that comes from Wetzel, but since he is "on your side" it must be acceptable to you. Me, I have a great deal of respect for Richard, Dick, he has definitely made himself very successful on his own.  He has read and educated himself,  if that is being a "dick" I would like to know what Wetzel calls himself.  Perhaps the man Richard has become threatens lesser men.  
 

Bill, my daughter is in the hospital and as of right now is not doing well.  This is not life threatening but she feels horrible.   She will overcome this too, it just will take time.  Seeing her this sick is very difficult.  Thank you for asking.

Isn't it interesting that the lefties say Trump doesn't honor our Military Service People who have given their life for our Country, is truthfully the same individual who plays, "I'm proud to be an American" which HONORS those who have died so that we could be free at his Campaign Events?   Katie, I don't think anyone, regardless of political beliefs, want to see anyone to be sick or suffer!  Everyone of us has been sick and all of us has had suffering in our lives.  The older we get, probably only intensifies this human condition?

I completely agree with you Frank. Age brings aches and pains and to some, difficult health issues.   It is so difficult to watch as our loved ones and friends face life threatening or life changing health issues.  I went to my doctor and he jokingly asked if I knew the damage all the sports I participated in, would I do it again.  My answer YES, I loved my life and I loved participating in tennis, racquetball, hiking and climbing, golf, long distance swimming etc.  We support each other because we totally understand that time is not always our friend but alway something we want more of to reap the rewards of a life well lived!

At Greg's get together the night before I was able to catch-up with a classmate who had cancer, raditation and  kemo. She said she thought she was going to die 5 years ago. Obviously, she did not and looked amazing. I feel your daughter will respond likewise. Take care!

Bill, I wouldn't mind that nickname, in fact if you can tell me how to pronounce it go for it!  But, you have reminded me of one thing I already forgot, I need to live by the principles I ask of others, so I will drop the trumpies as well.  Again, thanks. I read Sherri the experience you shared with another cancer survivor. The more she hears the more she feels she will get through this. You gave her another good story to add to her Book of Hope that we started when she was diagnosed. When something gets really though it is imprtant to focus on the positive so we collect stories from others and then when we are feeling down or sad we can read them. It truly helps to strengthen resolve.  I did one when my back was so bad. I got up one morning and couldn't get out of bed because of the pain. So I laid back down with my stories and soon I could get up. It helped get me through the surgery which wasn't easy.  Lorts has helped a lot too. He is in our book. He was, and is, so brave!

Biden is actually discussing bringing Palestinians in Gaza to the United States.  Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Egypt will not take any of these Gazans because those Muslim Countries know that the Gaza/Palestinian Muslims are mostly radical Muslims.

So Jim, the demonstrations happening at the Colleges are Biden's fault but the Black Lives Matter and the George Floyd demonstrations, which were much worse for human harm and property destruction, was their own fault...........hypocrisy know thy name.  Where, now understand I am posting this laughing out loud, have you researched information that Soros has anything to do with funding of these demonstrations.  Reputable sources only.  
 

Right now these college Presidents and/or campus police need to aggressively go after the demonstrators causing harm or damage, maybe make an announcement that any student participating in disruptive demonstrations will be suspended.  I'm not sure if that could be done legally.  They have the right to demonstrate PEACEFULLY.  This doesn't mean they will earn any credit for courses missed or a pass on assignments due.  Then we will see who the "paid" protestors are and who is supporting them.  I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they were being funded by extreme Republicans trying to give Biden a black eye.  

Just like the bi-partisan border bill that was negotiated and trump told them to hold it because it would give Biden a win.  That shows how much he wants power, not to help the US.  And don't give me the issue that the Conservatives didn't agree with everything, that is called COMPROMISE and it has been used to create many excellent laws.  One of the most Conservative Republicans negotiated this and he still feels it is an excellent bill.  But, no, Republicans got in lock step line saying that if they don't get everything they want, giving nothing to the Progressives, they will not support the legislation.  One for Trump..... not a win but proof he cares little for the country.
