Hey, I was boring in High School and I'm still boring (sort of). I did 4 years in the Navy; graduated from San Diego State University and have worked for a bank, Maricopa County and a few other places, mostly in Human Resources with the last being at a senior living community in Scottsdale. We live in Ahwatukee. We have 2 dogs and the cutest baby granddaughter. I like being boring!

Any others who were sad when we lost ROTC?

Fridays were Spirit Day and the boys wore ties and we had some of the best pep rallies.

Working in the cafeteria, I grew to hate "The Lion Sleeps Tonight." The juke box seemed to only play three records. Thank goodness, Disney helped me appreciate it again!

And the students never received the recognition we deserved for helping "insulate and decorate" the cafeteria ceiling with mashed potatoes and straw wrappers.

I was very lucky to work with the A.V. staff by providing sound and music for the football games and assemblies.

I served in the Navy from 1966 through 1969 and some time after in the active reserves. I was stationed on the USS Oklahoma City (CLG-5) and the USS King (DLG-10). Due to this service, I was able to visit Viet Nam, Japan, The Philipines, Hong Kong, Singapore, Guam and Hawaii. I left the Navy as a Ship's Serviceman Second Class.
