In Memory

Dave McCUE

David Paul McCue, age 58, of Phoenix, AZ, unexpectedly passed away in a construction accident on July 25, 2005. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1946. David proudly served as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps during Vietnam and considered himself "once a Marine, always a Marine." Throughout his life, David completely adhered to the notion of living every minute to the fullest and living every day as if it were his last. That is exactly what he did. He could not wait to get up in the morning, usually pre-dawn, because he was so eager to discover what new and exciting things the day held for him. David was an extremely hard worker and loved what he did. Working was often more like fun for him. He successfully worked in construction and eventually started his own framing business, doing a lot of the hands on work himself. David was an exceptionally generous man, constantly going out of his way to give to others whatever he could and help anyone in need. He measured his wealth in wonderful friends and family and considered himself the richest man in the world. He leaves behind his wife Michelle, daughter Monica (31), son Mark (27), son-in-law Ryan (35) his best buddy and grandson Noah (7), his step-granddaughters Mickenzie (14) and Kaysie (11), his sister Maryanne Stewart, brother Jim, and numerous friends he considered family. David was a wonderful husband, father, friend and mentor. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2005, at 6:00p.m. at East Resthaven, 4310 E. Southern Ave. Phoenix, AZ.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to either The TJ Pappas School for the Homeless or Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development.
