I am so saddened to hear of Jade's passing.  Even amidst all her health problems over the years, her sparkling personality shone through.  She showed concern, love, and humor to all her friends.  We attended Lafayette as well as Camelback together and I remember her as strong and vivacious and so fun-loving.  There is a tear in my eye and a hole in my heart today, but I know she is in a better place free of pain and suffering.  Farewell for now.  There will be another 'class reunion' in heaven one day and I look forward to that wonderful hug only you could give an old friend.  Love, Nancy (Solazzo) Klatt.

I went to Lafayette and Camelback with Jade also.  She was a fun gal and we shared a lot of athletic activities together in grade school. Those were really great years! We didn't see much of each other at Camelback, but in the last few years a small group of us from Lafayette would have lunch together.  It was fun to see Jade and catch-up a bit. She was a loving grandmother that was easy to see!  I'll look forward to the heavenly class reunion that Nancy  Solazzo Klatt referred to!   God was very significant to Jade and she honored Him with her life.  We talked quite a bit about her love for the Almighty.  She will be missed!

I have returning thoughts of a wonderful friend Jade Metzler. We met in Lafayette grade school, graduated and continued onto Camelback High, where we again graduated to the "Adult" world.

Our grade school years were filled with recesses, music, art, and even Home Economics. We played tagged on the playgrounds, giggled in the breezeways. We participated together with others in Softball, Volleyball, Relays,  Hop Skip and Jump, tournaments, and just simple nonsense (Crazy Hat Days). We occasionally saw each other in High School our interests directed us in various directions. But when we encountered each other it was with a hug and a joyous round of laughter. On our Ten Year Anniversary of graduating from Grade School, we would reunite with other classmates. What a fun and silly memory I still hold of that night. Jade continued to greet me with hugs and smiles and because of our difference in heights, she always gave me a hug like a little teddy bear. Rest in Peace my Friend and brighten the Heavens with your beautiful smile. I hope to one day reunite with you.
