Mike and I became friends in 6th grade catechism class; went to different grade schools but established our friendship at Camelback HS. Mike became my best friend and our friendship grew after college. We vacationed in Hawaii a couple of times and Mike was in my wedding in 1974 and also when my wife and I recommitted ourselves to our marriage vows in 1994. I lost Mike to an unnecessary act of violence in 1995. Mike will be forever in my memories as a person who encouraged others and was always fun to be around.
