Wendell Ray Cook, 78.   It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Wendell Ray Cook who departed this life peacefully on November 15th, 2025 in Phoenix Arizona.

Wendell was born in Murphysboro, Illinois, and moved to Arizona at a young age where he would sink his roots deep and positively impact his family and community in so many ways. After serving his country, with the US Army, Wendell spent his business career building successful companies with a passion and endless focus on leadership and the development of people around him. Beyond work he was a pillar of support for his community serving as a Member and Past President of Executive Council Charities as well as a Mentor, Board Chair and endless supporter of New Pathways for Youth.

Family has always been the center of Wendell's world and what everything revolved around, an amazing husband, father and grandfather! The son of Louis and Ruth Cook and brother to Jack and Norman. Husband to Michele and father to Jason (wife Trina), Jeff (wife Heather) and Garrett (wife Danielle), grandfather to Trevor, Makena, Dylan, Cooper, Clara & Weston. An amazing family leader that will be missed dearly.
