Cindy Roesler (Arnold)

Cindy Roesler (Arnold)

Cynthia Louise Roesler Arnold, 74, passed away Feb 21, 2023, at her home in San Diego, California. Cindy was born in Rochester Minnesota on March 21, 1947. She was the middle sister of the three girls born to David and Dottie Rosier (both deceased). The family relocated to the Phoenix area where Cindy finished grade school. She graduated from Camelback High School before attending Arizona State University where she graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. While attending ASU Cindy was a member of Chi Omega sorority and a member of Angel FLIGHT. She was one of the inaugural faculty members at Fremont Junior High School in the Mesa district; and taught there for seven years.

She left teaching in 1978 to become a mother to her only child, Stephanie Nicole Arnold. Cindy flourished as a mother; it was her life's calling.  Tragedy struck in 1986 and Cindy lost her daughter, her best friend. She moved to San Diego in 1988 and joined her mother. Cindy retired from the US Department of Homeland Security in 2011.

Cindy is survived by many long and true friends: Elfie Biggs, Debra Duvall, Cheryl Keenan and Lowell Arnold. She is also survived by two sisters. Cindy was a lovely woman. She was stylish; beautiful, inside and out; she displayed kindness and genuine caring to friends. Her frequent and long phone calls will be missed.

Cindy's remains will be interned next to her daughter in the Mountain View Cemetery, Mesa Arizona on August 3 at 9:00 a.m. While she will be sincerely and lovingly missed, she will not be forgoten. This time of deep loss reminds us to treasure the moments we have today.

Another classmate I did not know has passed away too early.  What a face!  What a smile!  R.I.P. Cindy.
