Susan Marie Johnson Sucato Whittier, 70, of Glendale, AZ passed away on February 20, 2018. Susie was born July 1, 1947 in Duluth, MN to Herbert and Virginia (Oltman). Susie's family moved to Arizona when she was 3 years old. Susie was married to Marvin Whittier for 35 years. She worked as an administratiive assistant in the accounting department for Chanen Construction Company for over 36 years and had just recently retired. Susie loved to spend time with family, friends, and her doggies. Although she had great luck with slot machines, she always preferred to be on the beach enjoying the ocean. She was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling for fun. Susie is reunited with her parents, her step-daughter Juli Stewart, and other family members who have gone on before her. She is survived by her husband, Marv; her son Tony Sucato; her daughter Angela Sucato; her Step-Son Joe Whittier; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A 2:00 p.m. Memorial Serve will be held in Susie's honor on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Road, Peoria, AZ 85381. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be in in Susie's name to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
