CAMELBACK HIGH SCHOOL – CLASS OF 1965
50th REUNION

"50 n 15 - An Event of a Lifetime"

We are in full swing with the planning of your 50th CHS Class of ‘65 Reunion. We have gathered an impressive group of people who will labor to create a celebration you will enjoy and a 50th reunion celebration you desere.

As you probably already know, we have chosen the weekend of April 24th, 25th and 26th 2015.  Our hopes are that this weekend will offer cooler but very enjoyable weather in the Phoenix area as opposed to our rather warm 45th reunion. We have chosen the location of our reunion, the same location as our 45th, i.e. Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort, 11111 North 7th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85020.

Just in case you didn't know, we have a Website; www.Camelback65.com which is being used for a majority of our communication with all of our classmates. I encourage you to sign up, free of charge, on this website so that you will have the most accurate information regarding your reunion. We will also use email, Facebook and on an “as needed” basis, the US mail to keep everyone informed of our activities.

Our 50th reunion financial chairperson has set up a PayPal account so that donations from any individual may be made through our website to our reunion bank account. This will help us offset the costs of the reunion. A number of classmates have already pledged financial assistance for the purpose of mitigating the cost of the reunion. I ask that each of you consider a one time, or a monthly contribution to assist us in this endeavor. If you will go to the Camelback65 website you will find a donation button on the right side of the page. By pressing the donate button, the CHS class of '65 reunion page will open and it will ask you for a donation amount. Once you have filled in the amount and the credit card information, simply click Donate and a receipt will be emailed to you. If you prefer you could donate by check and send that donation payable to: CHS Class of 65Reunion, c/o Dave Kaiser, 17750 Hill Way, Lake Oswego, Oregon 97035.

I cannot stress how important it is that we do as much as we can to gather financial assistance for our 50th reunion endeavor. I am certain that all committee members and subcommittee members will work tirelessly to put on a program that takes into consideration all of the comments from our 45th reunion and produces an event to remember.

It is also time to begin the registration process for those of you who plan to attend.  The entire weekend and all the events will cost $100.00 per person which includes, the Friday evening meet and greet, Saturday morning breakfast (off-site at Camelback) the Saturday afternoon Grade School gathering and the main event Saturday evening, outside around the pool.  Food on Saturday evening is included, however drinks all weekend are your own responsibility.  When you register for the full weekend, the individual events are all included in the $100.00.  If you are unable to spend the entire weekend with us, each individual happening can be resistered for and paid individually.

On behalf of the full Renuion Committee we look forward to seeing you each and every one next April.
